OK I did a subscription of the congrats set. I’m sort of expecting the mint to include the 2026-P Proof ASE in another set like @ECG said or offer it as all by itself as a replacement to S Proof ASE. I’ll play the game for now. I too am sore about the 2019 S ERP ASE. I had it in my bag and couldn’t check out.

Yep. I’ll admit that there have been several close calls. 2019 and last year’s FHG debacle really sent me into a spiral. Weirdly, 2019 might have been worse. It was like double traumatization – the Mint and then eBay. I’ll admit that a couple of times the towel was in my hand, ready to be thrown in. Ultimately, my love of collecting cooled me down and drew me back in.

REB, I remember reading your comments about that back in 2019 here on CN, and how we almost lost you for good, that is, as a purchaser of any more US Mint (proof) coins.

Without seeing the 2026 Product Schedule its hard to say, however, the mintage limit is none, leaving the door open to possibly include it in another 2026 product offering. So far, based on the American Eagle Subscriptions, the only two variants of the 2026 ASE Proof coins we are aware of:
2026-W (1776-2026) ASE with 250 Bell Privy Proof
2026-P ASE Proof (Congratulations Set)

That’s the question, will the 2026-P ASE Proof be produced beyond the 55,000 coins in the Congratulations Set to be included in another product/set offering in 2026. If not, then at 55,000 mintage it would be the 4th lowest mintage ASE, behind:
2019-S ASE Enhanced Reverse Proof (29,909)
1995-W ASE Proof (30,102)
2008-W Reverse of 2007 Uncirculated (46,318)
