Right Dave, there is a back up on smelting the junk, so many LCS paying less. Way back when, in grammar school I work as a cashier. It was a late 60s. My dad gave me a $10 bill every day to pull out the silver. Myself and another guy would pull them out but he didn’t care how he’s took the franklin out, Walkers, or Mercury’s. Regardless now they’re all the same pretty much. Only better would have been buying baseball cards and leaving the packs sealed….

VinnieC,

The Financial firms also hate me, as I pay for everything with cash (including my last house) and always pay off my CC balances every month. Best path to financial freedom is to stay out of long term debt. Good for you! Those 2026 coins, both in silver and gold, are going to make it interesting next year!.Cheers

It looks like no one is seeking to trick me into the 2027 liberty. Gold is sort of annoyingly expensive. I took a hit in my credit rating the 2025 liberty gold. Even after I paid it off before I even got the credit card statement. It was a huge portion of my credit limit. I just got back to my credit rating last month. I suppose this is what happens when you just buy cars outright and don't finance them.
I'm now eyeing 1942/1 Mercury Dimes. Still have to get all the other stuff on my wish list.
P.S. The 2021 Bronco Gold Liberty was the one that seemed to outperform everything and it was the one I should have gotten.
