There will now have been an upward adjustment of 15 tiers for the 2025 American Liberty Gold(ALG) 1oz since dropping on 8/21. The coin was originally priced at $4,265. As of today(10/15), that coin when available, will now move to $5,015! Following, are other notable gold coin price changes, since their launch.

A 22 tier change in price for the American Gold Eagle proof coins since launching on 3/20/25, with an original price of $3,850 for a 1 ounce, $1,950 for a 1/2oz, $1,002.50 for a 1/4oz, $430 for a 1/10oz and $7,182.50 for the 4-coin set. Today those prices move to $4,950, $2,500, $1,277.50, $ 540 and $9,217.50 respectively.

The American Gold Buffalo(AGB) launched on 5/8/25 with an original price of $4,240. Initial pricing, was based on a range of $3,300-$3,349.99 on the pricing table. As of today, those will have moved up 15 tiers in price, to $4,990.

Lastly the Sacagawea 1/2oz launched on 7/31/25, with an original price of $2,175, in the same range of $3,300-$3,349.99 on the pricing table, as the AGB(5/8) and ALG(8/21). They move up as well, 15 tiers to $2,550.

PS The new prices will be based on the range of $4,050-$4099.99.

Same here. I believe I have a 1916-S with only 3 letters of Liberty visible (VG). I think I was 16 or 17 when I bought it and only wanted it as a Barber example for my folder, which I’ve since liquidated save for the Barber Dime.

However there was still an empty circle where it read: “Have 3 purchases shipped in the calendar year”, even though I’d made more than 3 purchases. Anyhow, it must take 24 hours or possibly reconciles at midnight, as when I checked my account the next day, both circles were now blue with a check mark, indicating my Loyalty Status is active, and I’ll get free shipping for remainder of the year.

Yeah it’s only $5,95, but why pay more than necessary when prices are already plenty high enough IMO.
