25DSS2 -

Ditto to Rick’s The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.., sans the capsule, got a clean capsule, much to my relief..,

COA is.., well, I like it, it’s in keeping with the theme, some thought when into it and it presents well, though mine was 1500 beyond where I wanted it to land (22 Aug order, no rhyme nor reason there),

The Good - the Obverse is darn close to ultra-high relief, IMO, Superman really projects off the field, and the ‘S’ on Supes chest, it’s not like emblazoned on, it’s like a plaque that projects off his chest.., A+ to the USM on the medal,

When mating the 2.5 oz medal to the OGP, there’s needs to be a foam ring placed around the medal to prevent rattlers, my Golden Retriever thought he got a new toy in the mail when I brought it in, with all the rattling going on,

I’ll stick with the next two S2’s, and reassess next year on the ‘26’s.., wouldn’t be surprised if they’re price adjusted upwards to $315-$325,

No movement on 25DSG, wouldn’t be surprised if 25DBS sales are cut in half, by mid-November, IDK

Today was Comic-Con returning registration and I failed. I would say that my waiting room position put me at the 2 hour mark in badge (ticket) sale that lasted 1.5 hours. I am hoping to do better with the Navy Privy ASE. I keep on using the analogy of Comic-Con badge sales because of the waiting room and the high demand sales dynamics. Comic-Con seems to draw people out of the waiting room in small buckets although last year they had an epic fail during the check out phase during open registration. During returning registration they allow the previous year's attendees to have a first crack at about half of the inventory and during open registration the general population has a crack at the remaining inventory. Sort of analogous to ABPP. You have minimal secondary market because badge resale is prohibited.

Sorry for the distraction. I just had to vent due to my lack of success. Wish everyone luck with 25NPM next week.
