In reply to Rich. Yes, that's to be expected, especially if silver is $48 an ounce. Should keep the purchases down, ensuring a low mintage set, which may enhance the value in the future, particularly if the price of silver continues to rise and not collapse.

One thing to look out for, the Mint may be increasing the prices on its numismatic silver products next month before the 2025 LESPS release.

Since 2020, the Mint significantly increased the price of the LESPS (and other silver products) twice:
October 13, 2020: LESPS price went from $150 to $201 (+$51)
July 9, 2024: LESPS price went from $220 to $255 (+$35)

Good to hear Chris, hopefully it’s a good one!

As noted before, something went wrong with the production or handling of these coins? The 69 vs 70 ratio is off compared to other production runs.
I suspect hairlines caused by automation/conveyor mishaps. Just a guess.

I’m just happy the Mint found an extra laser engraved ASE for me as the first one never made it out of Texas before disappearing. Maybe it’s a return? But at least I will finally get one. Welp, if this one doesn’t get lost in the mail.

Same with the Laser ASE, leftovers for the bigs at HHL lift-off. But, everyone had 10 days to get one for $105 – snooze & lose.

Look what CAC values their version of First Strike PR70 – Grey-retail = $455.
No Milk spots on this one! But quality is bad on a bunch of these, boosting 70 prices?

My proof S ASE arrived this morning (Thursday, the 25th). They’re CU as of Thursday morning. Interesting they’re not available when I received mine. I also have the last of the Kennedy Half Dollars (1964 design) in all but silver.
