My subscription order of the silver proof set was cancelled by the mint as of today- been wondering why it hadn't shipped. At this price, I'll probably pass on reordering in anyway should they release more.

How much do you think the US mint will be charging for them and what are the chances of getting one?

Someone at the mint needs to wake up with a reality check when it comes to silver price vs melt value vs set price. I stopped ordering.....its just not cost effective for a consumer to be so overpriced. Ive cut back sooooo much of my mint purchases....im at a point where i just may stop all my mint purchases after the 250th coins next year.

Heard today someone stating the Au will end the year near $3500/oz, and next year end at around $4500/oz. If he's right, next year will be salty for those 250 anniversary Au coins. Save your pennies Gentleman!

Half $ Luvah, I couldn’t agree more when talking about the 2025 Superman 1/2oz gold at $2,710! A straight up gouge to the eyes, kick to the groin, and biting of the “ear”, which isn’t even allowed in the UFC, Vale Tudo or WBA! LOL

The Sacagawea gold at $2,200 is a steal, when looking at 1/2oz of gold to 1/2oz of gold. For comparison the Royal Canadian Mint(RCM) is approximately $30-$70 less ($2,033.88-$2,171.12 USD), the Royal Mint(UK) is approximately $40 more(£1,655.00) and the Perth Mint(AUD) is approximately $25-$50(USD) more, for 1/2oz proof numismatic gold coins. BTW, I didn’t notice any actual 1/2oz gold coins at the Perth Mint, so I used the 1/4oz($50) and 1oz($25) size to get my range.

First of all, welcome back VinnieC! A few of us noticed your hiatus and were hoping all was well! I completely understand your quandary with U.S. Mint pricing and rationale of other coins you’d like to own or are considering vs modern. Lucky score on the FHG from the “Fire Sale”! That’ll be me with the 2025 AL Gold. It’ll be direct or bust and if it’s a bust, no big deal. I’ll finally end up getting that $5 Indian Head Gold I’ve longed for all along, to give my Sacagawea Gold(ETA Sat.) some company! They will make a fine couple! Haha.

I kind of hope I miss out on the American Liberty, as I’ll likely end up saving a couple grand by only spending a maximum of $2K-$2.5K on a higher grade than originally planned, common date $5 Indian Head. I think I should be able to find a nice example for that amount? Again, welcome back, don’t be a stranger! PS That $105 Ag PF set price, extra coin(W) gimmicks, had also stopped me until this year. Then I succumbed to lower mintages(2024) and the final years of the Ag Kennedy Half FOMO. I will not be a buyer for the 2026 Sestercentennial products if the prices increase!
