What the US Mint should do is do away with pre-publicized mintage maximums. They all too high and negate chances of a good aftermarket. Here’s a thought; open a one-month ordering period. Maximum coins 5 per household. That’s it. However many are ordered, that’s the final mintage. To keep doing otherwise results in purchasing coins at an inflated price that are likely to be worth no more than melt value.

In reply to KC&SO. I couldn't agree more with your sentiment about the mint's website! Why they felt people like to scroll down to find that annoying 'Load More' tab, which you have to do over and over again, to get to any current item is beyond comprehension. Government employees at their finest!

In reply to John Q. Coinage. Yeah JQC, that price point of $91 for an oz. of Ag keeps putting me off too. I'd buy a few if they were in the $64-$69 range, but at $96 (with shipping charge) I feel as though I'm throwing money away. Cheers
