I would panic (not me personally, not that hot of a coin), when you get a cancel notice from the Mint for that coin.
They’ll charge your bank just before they ship them in about two weeks?
You can call or email the Mint with your question also.

So I kept checking everyday and my paypal and bank both showed the charge as pending up until yesterday. Today the charge is gone like it never existed on either paypal and my bank account. Yet the Mint website still shows the order in my order history and still says backordered. should I be panicking? I thought these were updated to ship July 9th?

In reply to John Q. Coinage. From the 2025 pricing grid, if the average gold price is ~ $3,325 (i.e., $3,300 - $3,350), the Mint sale price will be $2,175. Similar to the FHG launch, these coins will go like greased lightning.

Images are now up for the “25th Anniversary Sacagawea 2025 Golden Dollar 24K One Half-Ounce Gold Proof Coin”. Initially it is looking like this could leave potential customers disappointed, as the offering is looking to be extremely limited. Just 7,499 currently and as of this morning no ABPP of any kind appears to be offered. No concrete details yet, stay tuned… PS Will there be any varieties created?

The 250th Anniversary Army 2025-W Proof American Silver Eagle is going to be a rarity. Try the W uncirculated instead. I predict the 250th Anniversary Marine Corps 2025-P Proof American Silver Eagle will do better and will have a better after sales as well.
