Received a notice a few minutes ago that can get in the queue today at 1330 hrs. to purchase the Army Privy eagle. I only attempted to purchase one coin payment info and delivery info was the same. I will mostly talk to the Mint reps at the FUN Show next week but either way I am finished with them. Too many nicer coins to acquire especially next week during FUN.

Not saying that this is your situation, but they must’ve found something off? If your order was cancelled – you get to try for another coin at 7:30 ET(if available)? Just make sure everything is in order as far as billing/shipping/CC, etc, and be quick to beat out the hundreds of others online/in line wanting one…

Correct I got notice it was received and shortly there after it was confirmed, and today it was cancelled. The order was place approx. 1230 hrs. on the first day of ordering.

Cali I’m with you that Bronco was pricey at the time $2,500 ish, in retrospect what a deal. Maybe I’d buy DC medals for spot, they are all medals to me even if “money” and the reverse of the Superman – a jet? Huh……what next The Flash gets a speeding ticket. I prefer the view out my rear view mirror where we/I could get gold @USM form only a tad over spot, or buy post a spot jump and mint status on price. Cag as w the mint and big boys im In this for money, profit$, so it was great when I took advantage now I’ve basically fired the Mint as is our right. FHG and other debacles show the Mint gives a rats arse about us small fry. Raise it to double spot, you’ll be happy. Low mintage don’t = profits see Jackie Bu and capital visitors center, etc. now basically just Au. The price has abosorbed any numismatic premiums….like the Return of the Archons, the body of the mint seeks your unfettered obedience and finances. Much better since 202 buying stock, especially contrarian stuff… buy low. SellHIGH

Kind of like opening a bad package of meat, never know how you will react. But, I know some will buy. DC will market them, and I foresee a lot of established and classic collectors sucking them up…. And to go with that I got a Bridge for sale in Brooklyn…

Craig, I’ve bought a lot more stox the past 5 years than What have become mostly overpriced trinkets from he USM. Dead. Money, good way to put it, funny I think many look to the newer and ignore older mintages that aren’t minuscule in the overall pix. I’ve sold and sell a lot but of late it slowed…slooooed down. ATB burnished used to sell ok, now aged and getting algae….or mold….or tarnish…or milk spots…or…..

It sounds unusual that you received the email cancellation notice 18 days after your order was placed. Did you receive the first US Mint email stating “your order# has been received” right after you placed the order and the second email stating “your order# has been confirmed” a few hours later?
