East Coast, it’s going to be cut throat! Pinehurst is offering $205/coin! All these dealers will be
slabbing them and selling for $399 or more on PF70 and $299-$329 for PF69’s. OGP rejects, $249-$269 or so probably. Plenty of flippers tomorrow even though it’s just 1 coin per HH. Friends, family and anyone else they can recruit will be out in force!

FYI…I received an email from Bullion Exchange that they will pay $180 for the ASE Army privy. I never expected to see this type of interest for a 100k mintage Eagle. Trying to think of something similar to this happening in the past with the Mint that had similar mintage and demand.

While perusing this evening I stumbled on a Coin World article by Larry Jewett, titled: “Special collection of Colorado coins and notes”(6/4/25)

Upon the conclusion, there was a link to the Great Collections auction: “The Centennial Collection of Colorado Territorial Coins and National Banknotes”. There are 95 listings left, closing over the next 3 Sunday evenings. There is a very, very nice Clark, Gruber and Company coin(1st coin in link below), currently at $180,000(78 bids) closing this Sunday. An interesting flaw in the coin, at least to me, is a missing denticle at 8:00. Also, ironically from the same collection, on the 2nd page, is the coin that Rick and E1 discussed recently. “Mint Error 1972-D Eisenhower Dollar Struck on Feeder Finger PCGS MS-64”, which is at $18,500’with 18 days to go. Lastly there are numerous Colorado notes and the $10, “1860 $10 Gold Clark, Gruber & Co. PCGS MS-62 (CAC Green)”, with 11 days to go, at $97,500 with 53 bids.(tied for 2nd finest)

PS Mike Byers wrote an interesting article in Mint Error News on the Feeder Finger “Ike”, which is pictured on the cover of issue 79(article pg 18). “Unique Eisenhower Dollar Unique Eisenhower Dollar Multi Multi- -Struck & Bonded Struck & Bonded
With A Feeder Finger” If you run a search using the aforementioned title, you can access the PDF on “Mint Error News”.
