Both 69 FHG privies went for $40,800 yesterday at SB’s auction. One sold in December for $26k and the other for $27k. A $14,800 gain & $13,800 gain in 3 1/2 months … not bad.

I had lost 20 ASEs due to spots. All had been purchased Spotless from several different dealerships across the country already certified and then stored in my safe. I should probably reinspect the remaining coins that I still have. The problem years are 2007-2016. You can find many articles on the subject at the PCGS and NGC websites. This is why I collect Walkers now.

Yikes! Do you store these coins in your garage with high humidity and temperatures? I only ask because I keep mine in a climate control environment (my A/C) and have never seen anything like the image in your meme. I’m hoping most of your ASE’s are in better condition. That certainly sucks as a coin collector seeing as the 1996 is one of the least common dates pressed.
