Yup, Marilyn got scrubbed. Bummer. I did pick this one up recently though. From the Movie “My Week with Marilyn” – Michelle Williams. Kinda classy but tame. This one should last awhile. By the way, a PSA Farrah Faucette autograph in the Orange One Piece – Thousands$$$.

I had 2 posts recently disappear after being accused of spam and the old ‘awaiting approval’ treatment also–never approved. I had edited the post one too many times with a pic attached, and bye bye. My guess is that you attached a file of sorts as well?
Their comment software is antiquated imo.

Rick, I’m not so sure you’re “off” on your analysis! It sure makes cents to me! I think you could very well be spot on! I just wish someone would be held accountable for what happened with this FHG release. I’m very displeased with the shenanigans the Mint continues to do. I wish there was something us/we collectors could do to get some attention to exactly what the mints up to. This type of experience will do nothing to gain new collectors, just how many new collectors are there that will shell out $3700-$4500 for raw/uncertified and/or $5500-$7000 for graded Au coins will the Mint attract? Not too dam many in my opinion. Just how many old collectors did the Mint lose? The Mint lost me but I have to admit, I was about done with the mint even before the release of the FHG, I guess this release was the straw that broke the camels back. I have three of the FHG and am very happy with that. I’m hoping once the Dealers get their inventory sold, these will gradually start having Legs/Upside and go up in value nicely. I’m confident this was a good investment. If not, I’ve still got 3 oz’s of gorgeous gold!

Rick, I may have to get this one too! Although I’m done with Mint purchases, this one is sure nice and I’ll probably pick up 1 or 2 of these. I really don’t want to purchase anything, any longer from the Mint, there are going to be some exceptions!! Not sure if I’ll pick up the Medal tho. I’ve been getting them to go with the Au, I do not normally purchase Medals! The past few Medals have been attractive I must admit. The only one to really hold it’s value and/or go up in value is the FHS!! The others you can pick up on the secondary market for under Mint issue price. That’s sad.

Congrats @KCSO. Either you you didn’t partake in the NYE celebrations or your celebration lasted in to the morning and you still had the stamina to beat out many of the other competitors. 🙂

Agree, very nice.
Those images were B&W renderings, and I added the gold color to help it along.
On the real coins, the open fields should appear black PF to contrast nicely, depending on the angle of view.

I really like both sides of this one — yet another reason to look forward to summer.
