Most of the newer coins that I receive have the D mint mark, since I am located in California and we seldom see newer coins here with the P mint mark. But for some reason, 95% of the 2023 half dollars I have received have had the P mint mark. All of the coins I have received have been in mixed rolls — containing both old and new coins. I’ve never received a roll containing ONLY new coins. So that would seem to indicate that the coins are circulating to some extent. I actually received a half dollar in change the other day at a local store!!

But are you getting both P and D mint marks?

Has anyone gotten all five quarters for 2024? I’ve found two different, maybe the rest next year. Not at all like 2022 and 2023. I’ll miss the Washington portrait when they return to the previous one.

I remember when the same was said about 2023 cents. They’ll appear, eventually.

Not sure about the odd number of them, the guy most likely sent more to PCGS with instructions to only slab 70’s with the special label that the Big’s can buy.

People tend to overlook “OBO(Or Best Offer)” when they see the prices presented on eBay, not sure why that is? It sold, and I can guarantee that they didn’t buy it for 34k, I’d guess 3k..

That is an impressive medal with Trumps portrait. Unfortunately, I don’t collect medals and don’t like paying 34k for a single ounce of Au. Why only 31 pieces slabbed by PCGS. wouldn’t it be more appropriate to slab 47 pieces? Don’t let those with TDS get your goat, just sit back and enjoy the show.

Yes – my bank ordered a couple of boxes of halfs for me. One box was nothing but uncirculated 2022s and the other nothing but uncirculated 2023s.

Additionally, my bank gave me some 2022 half dollars that a business had deposited with them when I went in last week.

I don’t know but whenever my job has gotten rolls of new cents and dimes, they’ve all been dated 2023. Except for cents (which my store managed to get several boxes of early in the year), 2024-dated coins have been few and far between
