"Yet, as we’ve seen, another FHG was struck with the same die marks as the “first-struck, privy-marked Proof gold dollar”. How many more as well?"

Thanks for distinguishing the US Mint terms for numismatic coin products produced in limited quantities (limited mintage): maximum mintage (authorized mintage); product limit; and mintage limit. For the FHG coin (Item 24YG), the maximum (authorized) mintage = 10,000, the original product limit was 17,500 and the (revised) product limit = 10,000, and mintage limit = 17,500.

JQC, You can say that AGAIN!! Talk about being deceiving! I don’t even recognize this Mint anymore. I didn't think it could get much worse than it was. Just goes to show you I’m NOT always correct! No Transparency what so ever! Why the Secrets? I just don’t get it! When I was a Contractor, I had a slogan and it went like this, “an Informed Customer is a Happy Customer!! While I was a Contractor for about 15 years, I never once had a Customer not pay me, hold back any amount of money for any reason and was never taken to Court. I ALWAYS got paid when the job was completed. I required 50% down, balance upon completion. I also gave my customers the taillight warranty which I would even tell my customer, when you see my taillights as I drive off, you’ll never see or hear from me until you need another job done! I always did a walk thru with my customer, had one of my guys right there with us to fix anything the customer found which actually was rare because I had already done my walk thru ensuring everything was done and done correctly! When I started a job, it was worked on minimally 8 hours a day, I never started a job then pulled my guys off to start another job, and another job, etc., once I started a job, there was a crew there everyday till it was done, excluding weekends. We worked most Saturdays and some Sundays. I hate it when I hear about Contractors doing that. It’s unfortunately a very common practice for Contractors to do. They think they’re making a customer happy cause they started the job when in reality, it would only confuse and anger customers when they’d come, work two hours and leave to work on another job, not to return for two or three days. This kind of practice only made customers angry!! Some on here know exactly what I’m talking about. Anyways, my point to all of this is, “an informed customer is a happy customer”!! I wish the Mint would have more transparency!

Well, as always, Good Luck ALL!!!
