These designs are BAD. They SERIOUSLY need to get more designers in there to offer some designs up. If the coins keep going this way i’ll just stop collecting them at this point.

Initially, the presidents would remain on the obverse
(even if tweaked). At least one side of the coin wouldn’t be horrid like all these proposals.

In reply to Craig. The Statue of Liberty design for the half dollar is the worst. The chin makes it look like Sergeant Slaughter. The CQ-O-03 version of the statue of liberty for the quarter was a superior version of the statue. The design being looked at for the quarter is terrible.

In reply to Craig. Sadly, it appears that all of the good designers, like Weinman, St. Gaudens, Gasparro, Morgan, and the like, are dead. What we are getting now are just P.C. designs. Honestly, if this is the best the infusion artist can come up with they all need to be fired!!!

In reply to E 1. According to PL116-330, Washington and JFK will be on their respective coins, with paralympic designs 2027-2030. Which Washington and Kennedy designs will be used is not specified, just a depiction of Washington and Kennedy must be used.

HALF-O-05 view of the Statue of Liberty is terrible. Most of the offerings for the 2026 coins are also terrible. What are the designers and infusion artists doing to us? We can do better. A profile version of the Statue of Liberty. The Frank Gasparro liberty design (1977). The shield earring design by G.T. Morgan. And LIBERTY needs to be on the obverse, E PLURIBUS UNUM on the reverse.
