If it were once every four years, I’d likely be in each time. But I wonder if in two years (or sooner) we’ll be discussing the Semiquincentennial gold proof coins with 250 special privy marked specimens.

Thank you very much! I wish You could get one too!! I truly mean that too! I was in your spot for many decades. I actually never thot I’d be able to ever purchase a 1 oz Gold Coin! I remember shaking just ordering my very first 1/10th oz gold coin! It was exciting and nerve racking all at the same time. I couldn’t really afford a 1/10th oz but I did it anyways. Then I kept purchasing one here and one there and it really added up over the years. I was purchasing Silver, even rolls here and there, till I had acquired quite a bit. Luckily, Silver was down a lot and I took advantage of it. Then My Wife said if I want more coins I have to Sell some. She lit the fire under me. I hadn’t thot about selling my silver to purchase gold. So that’s what I’ve been doing. I’ve sold about $40K in Silver just this year. I also flip silver coins to help me purchase gold. I had no idea how much I had. I had 4 extra large Safety Deposit box’s so I rarely saw what I had. It took two people to lift those safety deposit Box’s out, lol! Anyways, I’m happy I Stacked Silver as it is what got me where I am today! I still love, love Silver and ALL those stackers, keep on stacking! I’m rooting for You ALL!! Hang in there My Friend!

If there’s anyone who can negotiate through the negativity and nonsensical bashing coming from 70% who post comments here regarding the USM and it’s products, it is you REB. E1 is another, not one complaint(others as well)…
I don’t see any madness, nor fear an acceleration or ‘discovery’ of more coins like these anytime soon, maybe I’m wrong and Superman will be a Smash!?. The last attention getter was the v75 privy 4 years ago. This FHG privy takes things a step further imo.
I’m pulling for you if you go for one, you won’t regret it…

And THAT, sir, is where my trepidation lies. Do I really want to get on the ground floor with this madness and encourage its continuance? There’s likely to be much soul-searching between now and December.

So far only Trump loyalists are being put forward. I wouldn’t doubt she’ll be replaced by a loyalist. That could work for us. Time will tell. I found another 2024 quarter, on the floor of my laundromat. It’s a Patsy Mink AWQ. My second one. Also now have two Dr. Mary Walker AWQ as well.

I’m in your camp regarding all the hype and blatant fervour being expressed over this ‘modern era’ coin. The 1st FH with the die will probably go for an insane price, but the rest of the 229 might become available at a reasonable price point. I have no idea what that price point will be, but since I’m not a female, I’m not going to advance hysterical estimates….a sexist would say! I’m going to see what information comes from the mint and when the auction begins, if prices do go hyperbolic, I’ll just sit back and be amazed. As I’ve said before, I expect many more of these auctions from the mint as they ‘discover’ more and more rarities which folks simply must have in their collections.

Speaking of CAGCRISP, has anybody heard anything from him. I saw he was member on Collectors Universe. The last post I can find was in December of 2023. Collectors Universe shows his last activity being in April of 2024.

I wish I could entertain the concept of buying even one of these (w/o privy), but my budget forces me to live a less active life in the gold lane! As I commented earlier, I’ll just have to sit on the sidelines and watch. Good luck, and I hope you get all of your intended purchases!
