Yes AKBob,
Thanks!
I was talking about the privy medal in my post to you up above. Not the common medal. And when you appeared to imply that I could buy the privy medal later on for less than the $104 issue price I was flabbergasted and confused as to why you would say or think that!?
Thanks for clearing it up!

Rick,

There were two reasons I purchased this Medal. First, I only collect Medals that go with the American Gold Liberty Series. Knowing it’ll probably be valued less than my purchase price, both the one I purchased from the Mint and the one I purchased in a Pre Sale, graded PR70 PCGS. Second, reason I purchased the one (HHL of 1) was ONLY to possibly get a Privy or a Privy and signed COA. I have no doubt these both will come down in value, I don’t really care much either way as I only want one to go with my Liberty Set. I’ll sell the one I got from the Mint while I can still get my money back. If I wait, it’ll probably go down in value and with selling fees, I’ll need to sell it while the irons hot. This Medal will fizzle compared to the prices they are getting today. Hey, we’ll see in time if this Medal has legs or not. This would be the one and only Medal that would even have a chance of holding its value or going up in value compared to most other Medals. I don’t know a lot about Medals as I don’t collect them. Just because I purchase the Medals that go with the Gold American Liberty Series doesn’t mean I actually collect Medals. I know that may sound funny or weird but I do NOT consider myself as a Medal Collector. I have no interest in them. Plus they are Silver, most here know by now, I do NOT purchase Silver anymore unless it’s to flip, make some money and purchase gold with the proceeds. I have nothing against Medals what so ever, there are many very nice Medals but I can’t collect everything. I hope I have clarified my position on why I purchase Medals and have answered your question Rick.

Well, as always, Good Luck ALL!!!

Good to hear, it takes a while to get the new coins into circulation. There's just been too many change jars being cashed in & redistributed lately.
Next year you'll see those '24 nickels showing up in droves!
I'll bet your full rolls of 5oz Ag pucks are looking GOOD lately,!
