AKBob, ironically when I click on the link I saved from last evening, I’m taken to the site and indeed, they(2024 (P) Silver Eagle NGC MS70 – First Star Privy 1 of First 50,000 Releases) are not available as a Pre Sale any longer. Other thing I noticed is that the listed price was $149. Another thing to note, is that they probably didn’t or weren’t able(?) to corner the market on all of the 1 of 1st 50,000 labels? Also I did see the Black Core MS70 /Black Label and noticed that, that particular label is being advertised as a “Limited Edition 1 of 250”. So here we go with the labels game! First of this many, Limited Edition, 1st Release, First Strike, First Day of Issue, autographed this or that! Lastly looks like they also mention the “Limited Edition Black Label 1 of 250”, as coming with a box and COA as well. Ponder… I’m officially done with this offering and will not be enticed for any other packaging/label offers besides the 2, I splurged for. I’m betting that your 1 of 250 Black Labels will have some demand, so remember to “Strike While the Iron is Hot” and sell at least 2-3 of them once you finally receive them. Good chance you’ll be able to easily sell for $199-$249/coin, recouping your investment, ending up cost averaging for a net zero expenditure or better and having 2-3 to sit on and wait and see what the market does? Thanks again! People just Love unique or limited labels and the Black Core version probably looks really good in hand. PS Just noticed that the $149 price and product(2024 (P) Silver Eagle NGC MS70 – First Star Privy 1 of First 50,000 Releases) is available again as a pre order, w/expected ship date of November 5. I expect the Black Label which is expecting to ship Dec 22nd, will also be taken down and repriced to $149 or more shortly as well? Thanks again AKBob!

Your Welcome! I too picked up one MS70. The 70’s have sold out, that happened in one day too! I only purchased mine because I thot it was a small investment with a potential of having some “upside”!! Most here know I do not purchase Silver unless there’s an upside, this one may have a nice little upside. In time we’ll know more. I kinda wished I had purchased 5 of these but it’s now too late 🙁 . Oh, I just got another text from Bullion Shark and they now have more but these have the black core insert. I just purchased 5 of them so I’m in for 6 now! If you are thinking of getting any, you better do it now as these will be Sold Out by the end of today, a one day Sell Out.

Speaking of bullion, AKBob said yesterday: “I just received a text from Bullion Shark for the First Release “STAR” Privy on a American Silver Eagle MS70 is $99, a MS69 is $69 I think and there’s some Gem BU’s too.” There weren’t any MS69’s available as best I could tell. Just the MS70’s and Gem Uncirculated’s. With this being just the second ASE with an added privy and collectors often willing to pay for labels, this coin with the “1 of First 50,000 Releases” label appears initially to have some upside IMO. A few have sold for $175-$185 on EBay yesterday and today. Only other ASE, with a privy has been the 2020 V75 proof. Those had a mintage of 75,000 vs 500,000. The labels(1 of 1st 50K) on these bullion coins and the possible lower potential prevalence of 70 grades might possibly make these bullion coins values escalate? Time will tell? At $99, not to risky of a speculative play IMO. I shot the lock off the wallet and ordered 2 this evening to get free shipping. $30 more for
The MS70 vs the Gem Uncirculated’s seemed to be worth it relatively speaking, since some have been willing to pay almost double on the secondary market? 6 coins show as having been sold for $175-$195 in the last 2 days. One seller raised his/her price to $175 after selling 1(some?) before at $125 + $5.45 shipping. BTW, for any curious about NGC Gem Uncirculated/Gem UNC vs a number grade on the slab here’s the NGC link to their explanation. PS Thanks AKBob, for the heads up on the presale!
