They might be overpriced (I don’t think so because I have a lot of them in my safe) but folks sure have scarfed all of them up! I see all are with the ‘remind me’ tag. I know a lot of folks don’t like them because they couldn’t afford them, just like you don’t see everyone out wearing Rolex watches. I’ll bet they’d like to have one though!

I first logged into the “WaitRoom” 3 hours before the start of the big sales event. But I inadvertently hit the “refresh” button 45 minutes before it was to start and poof, I was bounced off. So I logged back in losing my place in line.

When it started it first said there was a 1 minute wait, and then updated to 30 minutes, and then down to 15 and then 7 … which became about 2. People were obviously dropping off left and right.

When I got on I started looking for a couple coins I had previously put on my list … only to find that none of them were there. What was there was the bottom of the barrel and no way was I going to consider ordering the only Silver Eagle that was being offered on the sale that probably had been returned. And Lord knows that I wouldn’t want anything that Kaiser returned. (Sorry Kaiser, that was a cheap joke.)

So just to be “a Richard” I put that Silver Eable in my bag and proceeded to bounce back and forth to see if they would actually kick me off the site for not completing my order. After 25 minutes of doing that, even I got bored with the fiasco.

But when I deleted the only coin I had in my bag it finally did kick me off. But for fun I re-logged in and was immediately back into it. So it proves this was just another Mint pipe dream.

Thought you might enjoy this given the baloney you got. But you missed absolutely nothing but another big Mint fiasco.
