Cali, I am very happy that you apologized to Magic D. I’ve been where you are/were before and I know just how hard it is to say “I’m sorry”, especially when you’re very passionate about something. One thing I don’t like about texting, emailing or posting, it’s difficult at times to interpret the emotions and meaning of what you’re trying to say. You can’t see the persons eyes, demeanor, voice inflection or lack of voice inflection, etc. when reading something. Two people can easily interpret it in totally different ways. I don’t think there was any difficulties in interpreting your post to Major D, as I said previously, you kinda used a hammer instead of a ruler, lol!! I’ve had to apologize and it’s not an easy thing to do but I commend you My Friend, you did the “right” thing and I’m betting Major D will accept your apology. Us older fellas “should” have thick skin by now! I’m sure there’s still going to be some “butt hurt” felt but that’ll go away, no scares will be left, lol! I try very hard not to offend anyone on here. I know there’s going to be disagreements and differences of opinions and a lot of us that are older have a lot of opinions, lol! I know I have mine. I try not to offend others that have different ideas, likes, dislikes, etc., once in a while I probably don’t quite say something correctly and when/if I do, I hope I only get the ruler, lol!

We are all reading and/or posting here because we can discuss things and learn things to gain more knowledge. I always say, “knowledge is power”. So when/if something comes up that’s gone off the rails, someone here will help getting us back on track and that’s sharing with others here. Back to the Basics.

I am pretty sure Cali that most if not all really appreciate you digging deep into the weeds and sharing your information you have found. I know I have learned several things reading your posts and no doubt others here want you to continue doing the research that guys like me just don’t want to do. So on that note, I’d like to personally thank you for all of your research and all of the sharing you do!!

I would hate to see anyone on here to get so upset, mad, angry etc., that they just grab their marbles and go home and not come back all because of one small incident, argument or whatever. There’s nothing wrong in being passionate about your beliefs, ideas, opinions, etc., we just have to remind ourselves that everyone out there isn’t just like myself/ourselves. So we must agree to disagree, I know that sounds simple but it’s actually the way it needs to be. No more and no less. Let’s be forgiving with each other and give one another a little grace. It’s not always easy to be humble but there’s nothing wrong with striving to be better.
