I have often wondered if the Big Boyz get a little bit of special treatment. They are their (grading services) “bread & butter” after all. I’ve still got some 2021 D’s that I could send in. They aren’t First Strike eligible tho but I do like the PCGS Shield label like Rick does. I have to admit tho Rick, the Shield label has grown on me. The more I see it the more I like it. I have a couple extra American Liberty gold coins that aren’t First Strike eligible and when I send them in I’ll get that label. It’s a 100 times better than “plain Jane” blue label. I brought that up to one of the PCGS fellows that’s been helping me and he agreed with me AND he said he’s heard this from a lot of collectors. Hey, maybe PCGS should try listening to their customers. I personally think collectors buy NGC hollered coins because their labels so look much nicer. Just sayin.

They don’t apparently exist from the factory. Some conversions exist but pricey, WTF w all lefties. The WW1 was a 1903 Sp left handed, IMPOSSIBLE

My opinion, and not an educated one, is that you received a lower than expected % of -70’s…
With that being said, I believe that the Mint treated these coins, to a lesser degree of course, not a whole lot better than Bullion ASE’s,-Allowing them to ‘clink about’ with one another just a bit too much. I saw that first hand with all 3 of my 2021-D Morgans–All clink/contact marks with a reeded edge from another coin.. Again, an uneducated guess/opinion for you to consider…

I’m not really too sure about the Sunflower for the Gold coin. I actually really like Sunflowers but I’m not so sure it’s appropriate for this series and gold coin. Of course when the 2021 Rodeo/Cowboy/Mustang Gold coin came out I wasn’t too happy or impressed with it all, at that time. However, since it’s release, it has really grown on me and I now actually love it. I did purchase one after the release. Time will tell, it may actually look good but until I see it in gold I’ll reserve my like or dislike for it until then. I do collect the Gold American Liberty series coins.

Rick, yes, I end my posts the way I do because of Keister!! I miss him and really hope he comes over here. He’s just another character like all of us and he’s missed.
