you used to be able to open an item that was for sale
then click on the ‘left mouse button’
and select ‘view page source’

while this will still generate a report, the number of coins available no longer appears in all this ‘data’. I suspect the mint removed the part that listed what was still available.
still, if you are even the slightest bit of a computer geek you could try and take a look…

I suppose it is possible to click on one of the links in this report might lead to number of coins available, but I have had no luck scrolling through the report, etc.

I found on the internet a sales report that wasn't listed here (for the week of 1/24) (from the mint news blog. 37,434 sets were sold (even though the sets have been unavailable for quite awhile!) Quite interesting the returns I listed above for 3 weeks = 37,533. so Either they resold the returned items or they produced replacements and someone obtained them. I never looked on the website to see if sets were available during this period so I don't know.

so explain the following in regards to the reverse proof Morgan and Peace dollars
Current sales show total of 247,660 sold just short of the 250,000 limit.
on 1/17 total sales were only 210,754. and that report showed a return of 6,850.
the 11/29 report showed returns of 16,488.
the 11/22 report showed returns of 14,195
so somewhere between the 1/17 report and todays report magic happened. either they are selling the returns or they minted replacements or who knows what!

Relax people, ‘there’s still many available’, no kidding. I wonder how many of the L/B gold coins sold were purchased by Magic Mike and the like for tv presentation (at a slight mark-up for the rare label, and of course the 70 grade,) $1000 plus over spot Au, no thank you. I like my money to make money.
