Good question. It’ll be close either way. The 99% Buffalo & Liberty gold were in the $2,700 to $2,900 range the last couple of years and I believe gold is higher now than then.

I agree with your appraisal of the coin. The obverse design is pretty damn busy. The reverse is fine.

Being a slave to precious metals proofs, I’ll be a buyer … if I can get one as I’ll be on the road that day. Hopefully, high noon doesn’t come and go without me there.

I have to say the reverse of the joint coin is actually nice. The obverse is kind of confusing with arms and hands coming out of their necks. Are the 7 stars representative of the continents on planet earth. Anyway, I will contemplate purchasing one of the gold coins as well. The only question will be is it going to be over or under 3K?

Chris, I agree, I need to do some pondering if I want to get this UK-USA Joint coin effort. It will be expensive. 10k mintage for gold and 75k mintage for silver. I like the obverse of the UK better than ours. I like our reverse better.

My ASE came today. It looks great as well as the case. No complaints. Mint did right with this.

Is the clamshell a “leather” case? What mine came in. Coin looks good. Nice cameo.
Finally have the quarter released in August. Have seen some of the Maria Tallchief. Still asking about Kennedy halfs at my bank. They haven’t seen any. Maybe have to go to Dubai or Oman to get one.
