U.S. Virgin Islands used to be Spanish. That's why the U.S. acquired them after the Spanish-American War. Sort of a compensation for the war.

Are you kidding. No way the thieves ditch the red oak box, that thing makes the best line cutter ever and you can store your razor blades and straw in the red oak box. Handy dandy. The envy of the hood. I just store my valuables in my work boots next to job applications I've accumulated over the years. Another theft deterrent is decorate your living room in civil war memorabilia and hang a sign out front using a rope you tossed over a tree branch. It is similar to drawing a chalk outline of a body and putting up crime scene tape and randomly passing watchtower pamphlets in the yard.

Women won't collect nor will the culture depicted on the coin. Why? Because they are the poor and impoverished. They can't afford $2 for loaf of bread, so can't afford a roll of quarters at almost double the face value. They'd have to pawn their gold teeth, sell their gubmint cheese, downsize their rims from 75 inch to almost factory size.

When I think native American, Hawaii is last place I think of. How does it work for Virgin islands? Used to be British now our territory, are they native British American islanders?. So confusing with everyone demanding a 15 adjective pronoun rating.

No reservations, no trail of tears, no French and Indian War. And I don't even think we had to go to war to take Hawaii, not to mention the locals weren't pushed out.

Once again pass. DEI is driving education to idiocy.

Either the mint is drowning in this DEI crap or they're trying their best to encourage women to get into coin collecting. I haven't figured out which yet. I saw where Magic Mike was selling MS70 ASE's on HSN for $100, well $99.95, with a certificate to grade 4 coins and, of course his $30 'Red Oak' box. I always wonder why they don't give folks the option to opt out of the 'Red Oak' box and charge $69.95 for the coin. With all the brazen burglaries occurring throughout our country, I would think it idiotic to display silver coins throughout your home in a handy box. Anyway, a smart criminal would just remove it from the 'Red Oak' box and throw the box away.
