What a shame. For us that live on the west coast and like to scour coin rolls (even after 50 yeRs doing it) it takes FOREVER for the P mint mark coins to reach us in AU condition.

D&C,

Not to mention the "military alphabet" my USAF Intelligence Command officer taught me as a young teen - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie...etc. Kids today don't even understand that either, nor do they know Roman Numerals! (Not even SuperBowl®© LXI) etc.! Lol...Most kids are stupid these days in some ways, but many of their parents are even more ignorant IMHO.
And don't even mention the word "numismatics" or like some idiot who asked about my favorite hobby & I said that word & he said "What language is that??" I told him it's Greek to me! LMAO...

People always say even a broken clock is right twice a day. But what if it is broke and doesn't have hands. Since time is relative, would the clock be always right? Or does not having hands make it something other than a clock. Therfore is excluded and makes all clocks right twice? If you really wanna throw them a curve, make em do it using 24 hour. It's 23:17.

How can that be, 12 is the highest ever.

so, FYI the other day I went with my mother for a 'cognitive assessment' at the doctor's office. one of the questions was a blank clockface (no numbers or hands, but it had 12 tick marks in the usual places) and she was asked to draw in the hands for the time of 10 after 10. she got it ok, but I wondered if you had asked 20-somethings today would they all fail this question, apparently never having used an analog clock enough to set the time on one?

Instead of edit and having that gem erased due to spam, I'm just gonna finish thought in separate bubble.

So the end game is to remove the coin collections that appeal to kids that could be used as educational and learning aids. As parents mostly use cards and rarely cash and work 3 part time jobs without benefits because Obama care incentivized business to remove healthcare plans or offer as a perk as well as reduce full time workers to part time so that other perks no longer apply. Fun fun fun

The goal is to stupify the youth. Dumb em down. That's why teaching clock reading and check book balancing and letter writing and counting money is not taught. Yeah i know they may be obsolete or antiquated, but they are still used elsewhere. In Iraq they still use the slider and carbon paper to process credit cards. But the biggest change is how math is computed itself. As I was graduating our schools were switching from 6 classes all year to 4 classes per semester. And all the books were being replaced. That is so parents can't teach their kids the math they learned. I got that dose of reality when I went to college a couple years ago and the basic math class took points off for not showing work. When I did they (20 something year old professors) said they didn't understand my work and that it didn't follow the formula of the book. And it was different than the way I had to learn to help my niece and nephew with their homework a few years after I graduated high school. Many parents today can't help their kids at home due to the changes in methods. 2+2=4 but first you have to multiply both numbers by 2 preceding the = sign, then square it. Then find the square root, and divide by 2. Not a real example but just demonstrating how stupid and arbitrary math has gotten. Or 9 is what percent of 100. Or 75 is what per cent of 100. Easy. 9 and 75. Wrong. You didn't show work. You have to make it into a fraction, then do the reciprocal, then multiply across. Then multiply by x. Cross cancel, then reduce. Watch YouTube tutorial, sit in a school board meeting, donate to the city council election and mayoral funds. And that's simple math in the modern age. Miss one step and your answers are wrong.

I think Dec 31 is last day they can stamp anyway. Anything after would have to be 2024. I could be wrong. It might be Oct due to start of next fiscal year, but considering the uncirculated set doesn’t go on sale til near end of year, I'm more apt to conclude the deadline is Dec 31

By contrast, did you look in the cdn and counter his offer based on his assessment. Or ask why he sells these books at $20 when he himself wouldn't use them or reference them?

Well the red and blue books are annual and with bidenomics, gold and silver fluctuate crazily so value of coins can also. Fee bay is a decent way to check quickly for coins. However......... the same coin advertisers on this site, are also slinging on hsn, and fox business, and qvc, and shop at home, and etsy, and their own site, and their sister site and their overseas site and their pawn shop and other sites and most likely ask different prices on each one to see which sticks. Well they don't buy the cheap one because it might be a scam. Can't afford the most expensive ones listed; although, those that can afford the most expensive will buy it because they suffer from iPhone syndrome. Expensive means best. I search by the coin type and check the shopping tab. And the 1958 were mostly ebay. With few coin sites listing it. Most likely the ebay site was just another platform for advertising it. Plus thr coin sites charge a credit card fee. No return policies, no customer protections like PayPal does. Now for the political part.

Colorado says trump can't run in state due to insurrection (despite what anyone says or thinks or feels about trump, the basis of the constitution also says innocent til guilty and without guilt there can be no charge). But let's use the democrat view of guilty because we say so and disagree with whatever. So let's apply the same basis to Biden. Republican states should remove biden from the ballot because he also lead a resurrection. While I think blm was several riots(Chaz etc) so was Jan 6 by comparison. So trump lead an army of people to overturn the gubmint. That is in now way different that biden and his cronies allowing the illegals to amass in the United States and overthrow the gubmint via financial means. Biden is the general of this invasion of foreign invaders. Not just Hispanics, but Chinese, Indians, Russian, middle eastern etc. So without a trial, and without due process, biden is also an insurrection leader. By their own standards. There is more than 1 way to overthrow a gubmint. Our Cia has been great at it. You can bankrupt a nation. Proxy war. Election theft (cartels did it many times recently, and mafia did it around the time of prohibition to name just a couple examples, and you can add fear from the hooded ones too if that helps you sleep at night and makes your side feel holier and more superior) 7 million counts and growing for amassing an army. And unilaterally giving them citizenship (it's coming, you can believe that, an executive order to let em stay so they don't have to wait 8 years for their asylum hearing, DACA on steroids).

Election theft (cartels did it many times recently, and mafia did it around the time of prohibition to name just a couple examples, and you can add fear from the hooded ones too if that helps you sleep at night and makes your side feel holier and more superior) 7 million counts and growing for amassing an army. And unilaterally giving them citizenship (it’s coming, you can believe that, an executive order to let em stay so they don’t have to wait 8 years for their asylum hearing, DACA on steroids).
