Again with the Biden stuff I see. You ready to investigate both Trump and Biden at the same time? Let the chips fall where they may. I have no problem saying if either broke the law, either can go to jail. Will this investigation into Biden be as spectacular as all the investigations into the Clintons? That Benghazi one was particularly excellent. 2 years, and $7 million taxpayer dollars later. Thud. I assume you and I have never loaned large amounts of money to anyone, but the wealthy do it all the time. Harlan Crow and Clarence Thomas for example. Donald Trump borrowing assets from his children to fudge values on his loans just came out in court. Reporting everywhere but the right wing echo chamber shows that the checks your side keeps bringing up were paybacks for loans to his relatives. Biden has been in politics for decades. Don't you think if he was corrupt your side would have found actual evidence by now? Trump was in office for 4 years and already has racked up 91 felonies. And is Biden a doddering fool or a criminal mastermind? He can't be both. One more for you. If you think Biden has such poor mental abilities, what do you think of the Trump children repeatedly saying in court "I do not recall", "I do not recall"? Anyone without a horse in the race can see that is an obvious sign of criminal guilt. Trump used to say so himself until he used the same defense 400 times at his own deposition.
Here is the last thing I read on Biden/China on jabberwocking.com from Nov 3rd "National Review: Biden is a clandestine agent of China": "Over at <em>National Review</em>, Andy McCarthy wanders ever further down the rabbit hole of abject lunacy:
<blockquote>On the latest episode of his podcast The McCarthy Report, National Review Institute fellow Andy McCarthy <strong>reacted to the revelation that Joe Biden’s brother, James, wrote him a $40,000 check</strong> when a $400,000 payment from a Chinese concern came in.</blockquote><blockquote><strong>“It’s 10 percent for the big guy,” he said.</strong></blockquote><blockquote>“I can’t see any other way of looking at this,” he continued, “except to say that Joe Biden, as it turns out, is what they accused Donald Trump of being: <strong>He is a clandestine agent who’s been well paid by a hostile foreign power.</strong>”</blockquote>In what will come as no surprise to those of you who retain your sanity, there is indeed another way of looking at this: it was repayment of a loan Joe had made to his brother a month earlier. That's it."
Do you think Criminal Masterminds are in the habit of writing checks to each other?
You might want to wait until the investigations are over before you decide you know what happened and shout it out here, Dazed and Coinfused. I assume you thought for two years that Benghazi for Clinton was going to be the "big one" too. You are wasting a lot of energy worrying about things that in the end were nothing to worry about. You want to worry about something real, worry about Trump. He is in big trouble.

"<span>America is quickly becoming more like European union (remember dems claiming Brexit was a huge win for them).</span>"----Got to here before I call BS. Show me a source claiming Dems were pro-Brexit. Republicans more likely. Johnson was from the conservative party and was buddy-buddy with Trump. Which party is more likely to praise the EU than condemn it?
"<span>Apparently Virginia is more concerned for abortions and virtue signaling than education, infrastructure or whatever else the issues and platform were.</span>"---I would expect you could understand an unexpected child could ruin your finances if you are not wealthy. Craig might not. As for education, perhaps they were as thrilled with politicians saying what can and can't be taught in classrooms as they were about Republicans controlling their sex lives. From the guardian, Nov 2 , 2023. "<strong>Book bans and school bathrooms: Republicans to test power of ‘parents’ rights’ movement in Virginia</strong>" "<span>As governor, Youngkin has issued an executive order to ban “inherently divisive” topics from school curriculums, signed a law allowing parents to opt out of mask mandates and enacted a set of model policies for the treatment of transgender students that reversed protections put into place by Democrats. He set up a “tip line” for parents to report supposedly divisive practices in schools only for it to be quietly abandoned a few months later.</span>"----Which also reminded me that you or Craig said how the teachers union sets the curriculum in a previous post. That one I responded with DeSantis and his executive orders that you never countered. Add Virginia to that list. Since we are on that subject, I also saw that MFL group also lost badly. I think it was out of 32 high profile school board races they endorsed, their chosen candidates won 1 of them. In a rural area with less than 1000 students. I guess Americans still vote Freedom over Authoritarianism if they get to vote."<span>So if we can’t leave, what is the choice? (Hint oct 7th) maybe we can try a north south and add a east west and see if that helps create unity.</span>"----Gosh, I know it's radical but, Oh, I don't know, maybe.....talking <em>to</em> each other!!! Or we could take your suggestion, the new Republican platform, learned from the lessons of Oct 7th. Good one. "Only division in our country can achieve unity today" Up is down. Good is bad. Lies are Truth. Trump is a successful businessman.
"<span>But dems thought keeping Santos made Republican look bad, so might help them look better. So bottom line, keep the bad people, the detractors and distractor even if it hurts the country. Makes sense.</span>"----Did any republicans vote to remove him? Are you blaming the Dems for something the Reps do as well? How about both of them stop the games? Do you personally think he should go or not? It is pretty clear to me he lied repeatedly. Some of the Dems that voted that way probably thought he should stay to make the Reps look bad. Others voted that way because he has not been convicted of anything yet. Sets a bad precedent, don't you think? Gosh, they might even try to impeach someone in the future without any evidence. I probably would have reluctantly voted to keep him myself. Don't you agree with that innocent until proven guilty saying? What I am surprised at is couldn't they suspend him temporarily or something? They do it with police or other other positions when someone is accused of wrongdoing. Let someone else take over his duties until the issue is resolved.

Hi Dazed and Coinfused,
"<span>And what do you mean wait for more information? That is hilarious. So much of the problems are these media outlets posting their suppositions and mass producing it on their sister companies that the lie travels the world several times over before the truth gets buried. Ain’t that the point of liberal media?</span>"----What, just because they report it before knowing all the facts, you must read and comment on them? Like it is mandatory or something? You can choose to be informed or you can choose to level accusations that later turn out wrong. I prefer waiting until I see more articles giving different points or view. I noticed I can read 3 articles on the same story from 3 different outlets and all 3 will mention or not mention different facets of the story. You just cannot bet your life on any one telling you all of the details. It might be because of their agenda, or space considerations or just sloppy reporting.
"<span>I see your rush to anger and hate has increased as I have shot down your rhetoric and false allegations and narratives.</span>"---Really? I don't feel angry. Remind me of one of my shot down "<span>rhetoric and false allegations and narratives.</span>" Was it the recent one of yours where you said MrBeast was "helping Africa since Obama was in office"? Was it the one concerning the Republican governor in Virginia losing control of the house and not flipping the senate? The one that made you, a non-voter not even in living in Virginia, so mad that you claimed that Virginia will soon be a "little Haiti" yesterday? The one a while ago now, about the Spanish Soccer Coach that was "innocent"? Those "false allegations" and "rhetoric"? Who is spewing false allegations and rhetoric here again? And why? This is the time to remind you this is a coin site again. Remember why we all come here? To learn, not be bombarded by political propaganda. As for narratives, my narrative is the same as always. Judge every individual for their actions and words, not the label you choose to assign to them, especially when you know nothing little about them. Spread a positive message, not a negative one. Is there any post of yours that I ever pushed back on that was not tearing someone or something down? You know, I noticed that Jabberwocking.com website I check out appears to be uncensored and is all politics. Why don't you try posting your political insights there and spare us here? The comments section is very intelligent, and push back on the authors' conclusions fairly often. There was a great article there a day or two ago about the educated becoming more progressive over time. In 1940 for example, the educated were more likely to be Republican than Democrat by 8%. The chart says it all. The best insights were in the comment section.

Hi Dazed and Coinfused,
"<span>(And your party cheered, cheered the loss of life and the sacrifice by soldiers, firefighters (cops… your favorite)</span>
<span>and their families, but yet applay the same sentiment toward a terrorist group and you go all nuts and pretend to own the moral high ground.</span>"----My party, huh? Libertarians have finally taken control? How did I miss that news?
"<span>I guess good for goose aint good for gander, and equality and equity only applies when dems hold the talking stick. 20 years of war, countless billions (perhaps trillions) 7,000 lives lost fighting for revenge or closure or whatever you wanna call it. Billions of military vehicles and weapons dropped in fear as biden had no plan and left them to retreat with tails tucked between their legs.</span>"----Who started that war? Who signed an agreement with the Taliban to pull us out of that war on Feb 29, 2020? (Hint---who was President at that time?)
Democrats got us into Korea and Vietnam. I would like to point out that Democrats from before the Civil Rights era are not the same Democrats as today. Lincoln for example, would probably identify more with the Democrats of today than Republicans. Southern Democrats of the 1950s (or even 1850s) would identify more with the Republicans of today than the Democrats. Do you agree? If no, why not? Republicans have gotten us into all the wars since Vietnam ended (Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq)
"<span>PolitiFact rating: True. Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows there were over 60,000 more deaths in 2021 compared to 2020. Johns Hopkins data, used by Williams and many national news outlets, also reported more deaths in 2021.</span>"----Great. Does context still matter? Does our government turn on a dime like a sports car or more like a battleship? After spending nearly all of 2020 saying COVID was nothing (the sniffles!), do you think the incoming administration was able to turn off COVID deaths like a light switch? I keep telling you everything is not as black and white as you keep claiming. Here is more from what I assume is the same article. Same author and also Politifact.com "<strong>Roger Williams is accurate that there were more COVID-19 deaths in 2021 than in 2020</strong>", but the date on mine says Jan 18, 2022: "Spencer Fox, associate director of the University of Texas COVID-19 modeling Consortium, said the first thing to consider when it comes to looking at 2020 and 2021 pandemic statistics is that 2020 is a ten-month period while 2021 is a full pandemic year. Much of the COVID-19 deaths happened March 2020 and onward; only 26 deaths involving COVID-19 were recorded for January and February 2020.Additionally, the U.S. experienced a surge in cases starting winter 2020 near the end of that year, Fox said. Many people died from those 2020 infections in early 2021, and that was well before vaccines were widely available. So while many of the infections in that wave happened in 2020, they were part of the 2021 mortality statistics.
There was also a delta variant surge in summer 2021, after vaccines had become widely available to the public.
"What we've seen basically since that surge is really just continued spread," Fox said, noting that the delta and omicron variants surprised a lot of people.
The delta variant was more infectious and had increased transmissibility, according to the CDC.
"But I think even though vaccines were widely available, I think a lot of the mortality that happened over the summer – during that major delta surge – was happening on unvaccinated individuals," Fox said.
Fox noted that even though many people were vaccinated, vaccination rates were low. "There was plenty kind of fuel for the COVID virus to spread on," Fox said.
Timothy Bray, University of Texas at Dallas professor and director of the Institute for Urban Policy Research, noted there was not clear guidance at the beginning of the pandemic on how to record a death that was COVID-19-related.
Hi Dazed and Coinfused,
“(And your party cheered, cheered the loss of life and the sacrifice by soldiers, firefighters (cops… your favorite)
and their families, but yet applay the same sentiment toward a terrorist group and you go all nuts and pretend to own the moral high ground.“—-My party, huh? Libertarians have finally taken control? How did I miss that news?
“I guess good for goose aint good for gander, and equality and equity only applies when dems hold the talking stick. 20 years of war, countless billions (perhaps trillions) 7,000 lives lost fighting for revenge or closure or whatever you wanna call it. Billions of military vehicles and weapons dropped in fear as biden had no plan and left them to retreat with tails tucked between their legs.“—-Who started that war? Who signed an agreement with the Taliban to pull us out of that war on Feb 29, 2020? (Hint—who was President at that time?)
“PolitiFact rating: True. Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows there were over 60,000 more deaths in 2021 compared to 2020. Johns Hopkins data, used by Williams and many national news outlets, also reported more deaths in 2021.“—-Great. Same author and also Politifact.com “Roger Williams is accurate that there were more COVID-19 deaths in 2021 than in 2020“, but the date on mine says Jan 18, 2022: “Spencer Fox, associate director of the University of Texas COVID-19 modeling Consortium, said the first thing to consider when it comes to looking at 2020 and 2021 pandemic statistics is that 2020 is a ten-month period while 2021 is a full pandemic year.
“What we’ve seen basically since that surge is really just continued spread,” Fox said, noting that the delta and omicron variants surprised a lot of people.
The delta variant was more infectious and had increased transmissibility, according to the CDC.
“But I think even though vaccines were widely available, I think a lot of the mortality that happened over the summer – during that major delta surge – was happening on unvaccinated individuals,” Fox said.
Fox noted that even though many people were vaccinated, vaccination rates were low. “There was plenty kind of fuel for the COVID virus to spread on,” Fox said.
Timothy Bray, University of Texas at Dallas professor and director of the Institute for Urban Policy Research, noted there was not clear guidance at the beginning of the pandemic on how to record a death that was COVID-19-related. The institute runs the North Texas COVID Data Viewer and works with local governments on COVID-19 reporting.
“It didn’t even have a cause of death code. And so, in the early days, we were asking local health departments to tell us how many people have you had that have died from COVID,” Bray said. “Eventually, that process became a little bit more concretized and was hung upon the death certificate process.”” ——-Context matters. MJ is Medical in Florida. I believe it got enough signatures to go on the ballot for November. But I wouldn't hold my breath. Also, CIA FBI or one of the alphabet companies is supposed to be about to reschedule it from class 1 to class 4, which is about the same as cough medicine; an odd comparison as many cough and cold medicines were just pulled after decades of use for not being effective.
Only the headline and no secondary report. Could be the single publication os due to it must be printed, but to keep it buried they aren't widely distributing the info. Could be an exclusive. Could be the reporter had an informant with details on the matter, not allowed to speak. But as we see, the gubmint wants that fox reporter to reveal her sources and threatening fines and jail if she doesn't. Other media companies came to her defense. Again, whistle-blower supposed to be protected, but the status quo is threatened so they wanna force compliance. Can you imagine if the precedent is set and suddenly all these anonymity people must come forward, or these leakers are exposed. But it seems to parallel Cambridge analytica and that other charade (pentagon papers, or something like that, _______ papers that were supposed to expose a lot of info and wrong doing) but probably got misfiled with epstein blackbook. Don't be surprised if Andrew offed his mother to keep his secret and hoped brother Chuck reinstated him. Boy was he wrong.

And the whole Youngkin thing, true, maybe it was a slap to him, but they can't override veto, so another couple years of stagnation in Virginia. Dems won't let his bills pass, and he won't sign theirs. And people wonder why all those 3rd world countries are catching and passing us. But they got the first LGBT representative. Kudos. Outstanding. Stick it to the man. But remind me how great the trifecta Lori Lightfoot is doing. But is fine. I don't live in Illinois, or Virginia so what they want has no affect on me. But I will bet the 1st of their kind will concentrate only on its own people, not both sides (either orientation wise, or political party wise). Can't think of any 1st that made a huge difference or did so well that voters crossed the lines to reelect. Apparently Virginia is more concerned for abortions and virtue signaling than education, infrastructure or whatever else the issues and platform were. America is quickly becoming more like European union (remember dems claiming Brexit was a huge win for them). Except we have 50 states to divide up. Cecession isn't allowed, even Texas, according to dem interpretation of the law, unless California wants to do it, then it's OK. So if we can't leave, what is the choice? (Hint oct 7th) maybe we can try a north south and add a east west and see if that helps create unity. Then yall can trade with the states and gubmints you agree with.

And to address your Santos comment. Republican did try to get him kicked out, but like the Mccarthy fiasco, they needed a few dems to boot him. But again, I think it was a t!t for tat. But dems thought keeping Santos made Republican look bad, so might help them look better. So bottom line, keep the bad people, the detractors and distractor even if it hurts the country. Makes sense. Certain path to a better America that way. But the main thing is, if caught in the future, dem can always say, well yeah, maybe what I did was bad, but not as bad as Santos. If ya can't elevate on your own platform and ideals, cut the other side down. Then blame global warming for creating the illusion that he sank versus being cut down.

Ah so close to veterans day and you don't get the reference. Omar said 9 11 was just some people did some things. (And your party cheered, cheered the loss of life and the sacrifice by soldiers, firefighters (cops... your favorite)

I guess good for goose aint good for gander, and equality and equity only applies when dems hold the talking stick. 20 years of war, countless billions (perhaps trillions) 7,000 lives lost fighting for revenge or closure or whatever you wanna call it. Billions of military vehicles and weapons dropped in fear as biden had no plan and left them to retreat with tails tucked between their legs. I know. I know. But hundreds of thousands died from covid from trump. Oddly enough the counter didn't stay up long once biden took over. And most of the time under trump there was no vaccine, recall the vaccine announced just days after the election. But maybe this is why counter removed.

Williams linked this increased level of deaths to Biden and credited the vaccine development to former president Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, a federal agency partnership to accelerate the development and distribution of the vaccine.

Didn't someone once say, "see a hole, and fill it". Explains the oldest profession. Technically the puritans home was England. But king James, (obvious democrat) wanted his brand of Christianity. So when the voters were disenfranchised by their elected officials and even charged for heresy they fled to Murika. Then big pharma followed them over and took over the world with their herbal tea, and pot and tobacco.

Come to think about it, I wonder if the homeless are as weary of blankets as the aztecs, Mayan and Inca should have been. Can you imagine the surprise when China claims ownership of America as it is believed they arrived on the pacific coast long before Europe (and probably vikings). Bit we will be fine, Joe is entitled to 10% so he'll choose Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New York and probably Ohio as his 5 territory to govern. We know it definitely won't be Florida as it houses DeSantis and trump. Maybe he'll even get DC as a consolation prize and fire up the shredders to reinvent America. One thing we do know, those confederate statues will definitely be torn down and replaced with Xi statues. So there's a win for ya. In the spirit of the new deal and the parallels biden seems to follow, Maybe Xi will grant biden a third term so he may rule like good old roosevelt.

Just curious, did the cnn folk show pic of the loan checks yet, (just happened to be 10% of the amount that originated in China transactions) or have they deemed it too sensitive and have blurred it to prevent people from having ptsd over it. Sure it might go nowhere, but one thing that is certain, the left will either claim it is revenge for trump and a nothing burger, or they won't cover it at all. It kinda reminds me of the dems when they said they had overwhelming evidence and schiff couldn't produce anything. Remember that? Pepperidge farms remembers.

The above 327 are spread out amongst 25 themes! I did get suckered in by the Superman issues, Aboriginal, Chinese, Wildlife, the “Banknote Series” and they were still putting out their $20 for $20 coin series. Only 1/4 ounce silver coins with a face value of $20. I’m pretty sure I picked them all up, at time of issue, once I got hooked on them. I have 3-5 of each one issued. Anyhow my Dad had picked some stuff up from the RCM in the late 90’s/early 200’s which got me interested in their coins. I’m well versed in what they offered from 2007-2019; when I finally curtailed my RCM purchases for a couple main reasons. They(GateWest/RCM Stipulations) began only offering some high demand products as “Only Available in Canada”. Their Peace dollar series and some of their more unique Canadian Maple leaf products have been released this way. Typically not available from the RCM or if they are, the window is worse than the old US Mint releases IMO. Then you go to GW and they will have a limit of 5 or 10, but for “Residents of Canada Only”! Ugggh! They actually just released their latest Peace dollars and I think they look cool, however you can’t buy them unless your from Canada, eh’. Take off hoser, these our, ours! Now rarely do I see something, other than the oddities that gather my interest. Just fascinating, the manufacturing process these novelties go through from concept to inception IMO. Cut outs, cast, bi metal, alloys, etc. AND, TheyWere INNOVATIVE enough to eliminate the Penny at least. Now the only product from them, I “don’t ish” I had gotten. “2023 '35th Anniversary of the Silver Maple Leaf' Fractional Set of 5 Coins .9999 Fine” other problem at GW are premium for the “highest demand” product. May gat an hour windo at normal price, the. Bam, price gets jacked, you can buy the set above, however it’s at least $100 or more over issue price and “Homey don’t play dat!”

The above 327 are spread out amongst 25 themes! I did get suckered in by the Superman issues, Aboriginal, Chinese, Wildlife, the “Banknote Series” and they were still putting out their $20 for $20 coin series. Ah yes, state choice wins. I liked the answer Haley gave. It was traditional double speak, but she may not like it, but she accepts their decision.

No mention of the Minnesota court shooting down the ineligible rule. Guess the squad will have to import more voters to get the results they are looking for.

And what do you mean wait for more information? That is hilarious. So much of the problems are these media outlets posting their suppositions and mass producing it on their sister companies that the lie travels the world several times over before the truth gets buried. Ain't that the point of liberal media? That was the whole point about that dude beat up by cops and the innocent one jailed that got killed. By the way tried posting those, but the coin gods wouldn't let me.

I see your rush to anger and hate has increased as I have shot down your rhetoric and false allegations and narratives. Just a link, no comment, yeah, that's so you read it and draw your own conclusions without a talking head telling you what it means or how you should feel. And each time you miss the point entirely. See. Even when presented with "facts" (I mean it is your news media, with the agenda and bias) you twist contort and deflate and go to insults and back to blaming things like anger that had nothing to do with it. You sound like trump.

Any way , the point of the VA results was that the claimed gerryrigged lines and polls and all those others metrics were off. That even in the capital of the south that the racists and bigots can be beat. By all metrics and past performance, Stacey Abrams should be there screaming rigged, and don't concede, and recount. But yall won, so none of that. And you are right. Republicans are dumb. They chose a speaker. They could have sent candidates Noone would back and not have to work on a bill, or the budget that is due next week. And since Noone able to put measure to vote on, could have leveraged for what they wanted (isn't that why they ousted Mccarthy) and could blame the dems for holding up progress. Again, lot of people voted for that part to be included in the bill, so don't blame Republicans if they would have used it for leverage.

I know it is winter time, but perhaps you should get an allergy shot as you seem allergic to facts. Well gotta go FIL is visiting for a fee months. Had to get him a passport and visa. Yeah I know, could have just got him a ticket to Mexico and he could have walked in an got full retirement, but didn't want to risk DeSantis or abbot sending him to commiefornia or little haiti/little Iran Minnesota, and definitely not Chicago, ad my wife would kill me if her dad died there. You know those PoC are to other PoC. The lawless towns. But hey, whatever helps ya sleep at night.

Reminds me of that black guy that turned white due to daddy issues. Called it vitiligo or lighter I go.
