I believe the point is that if we can create Hell on Earth, we can create Heaven if we wished to. We could end all violence today if everyone did what they say and do. If everyone vowed to never use physical violence against someone unless someone uses it against them first and kept that vow, violence could literally never start. We could literally end it today if we had the will. Makes Humanity even more pitiful in my eyes. The ball is, and always has been, in our court.

I am against legislating personal morality. Anything you choose to do to yourself should be your own business. Only when it involves others should there be any limits set. Drugs. Fine. Suicide. Fine. Pedophilia. Not fine. Two consenting adults. Fine. Abortion. Fine. Robbery. Not fine. Industrial pollution. Not fine. Vandalism. Not fine. Forcing anyone to do something against their will. Not fine. Anything unhealthy. Fine. I do not think anything “deserves” life until it can fight for itself, whether that is by being too tough or too cute to kill. Defend yourself, or find a defender (your mother initially, not a politician) to defend you. Nature has never shown a preference for human life over any other lifeform. All life is cheap. Only the tough survive. Forcing more births when we already take poor care of many of the children that are already here is irresponsible, in my opinion. Nobody in power has ever given a crap if I live or die. Now some politicians want to give potential life more rights than life life? A baby in hand is worth more than two in the bush. I might have just created a new saying. It still kind of makes sense too. It didn’t come up in a quick search. The anti-abortion crowd claim “all” life must be saved, but Hitler was a fetus once too. Are you really sure politicians should be deciding who lives with a blanket abortion ban? Could these laws actually be “Satan’s will” to allow the “anti-Christ” to survive? Are you all really so sure the anti-abortion laws are really “Gods will”? The road to hell is paved with good intentions is what happens when someone does not fully think of the implications before taking action. While some more fetuses will survive that would not have before, some mothers that would have survived before now will not. I also just saw a story of a mother who’s fetus would have died while suffocating shortly after birth. Maybe minutes, maybe hours. What politician is comfortable owning that? For anyone who is religious it seems to me these laws are encroaching on “Gods” territory to decide who lives and who dies. The loss of a mother due to pregnancy complications from a denied abortion is a greater loss than any one fetus to me. I myself would personally rather lose a fetus than a wife. One woman can create multiple lives. A fetus has about a 50/50 chance of even being able to do the same, if she lives to childbearing age. These decisions should remain between the mother and her physician, in my opinion. Politicians butt out. I always agreed with the old abortion phrase “legal, safe, and rare”. The politicians should beef up the childcare safety net if they are serious about reducing abortions. Not ban abortions. Carrot not stick. Shouldn’t be using sticks on anyone anymore anyway. Aren’t we advanced enough yet to give up on the beatings when someone doesn’t agree with you? I personally do not even believe a 15 year old is a human yet. Talk to me when you know what it is to be a human, kid.

We Americans saved him from that fate, Kaiser Wilhelm. He went straight from Europe to America. The Wikipedia entry was an enjoyable read. I particularly enjoyed the part about him fleeing when he found out Hitler ordered the gassing of all technicians who had worked on rockets. Or earlier when it said Hitler ordered the Gestapo not to prosecute him as long as he was “indispensable”. I wonder if the other Nazis would have welcomed him or blamed him in South America? Perhaps you know some personal second hand stories regarding him? I would not say he was a great guy. He basically didn’t care what the Nazis did around him as long as they let him work, it seems to me. I think he only cared about how his ties to the Nazi war machine made him look after he realized they were going to lose the war. Again, I think because of the effect it could have on his ability to continue his work. His work was everything. Just my opinion of him.

Yes, very few countries have their own government Mint these days with global outsourcing for sure. Also, with many institutions gone, like Sears, Woolworth, Pontiac, etc the last bastions of grit would be coca cola, Goodyear, Ford, dodge.
