Nobody I want to win is running. I don't like either side. Been that way since forever. I am not going to vote just for the sake of voting. Especially when almost 300 years later we are still changing voting laws and districts. Put up a candidate worth voting for and I might be tempted to register. FYI I have contacted senators, representatives, mayors, city council members for assistance and always got canned answers that never addressed the issues. But they had no problem calling me every day, and sending Mr pamphlets and flooding my inbox with their requests for money and votes. I would have voted for patreus, until his ordeal with the mistress. And I hate lawyers. They cost me many dollars and never did better than. I could have done. Bit for some reason that is all they seem to put up for contention. But if black we have 4 years of ignoring the white voters. If female the other world leaders won't entertain even talking to her. And if republican 4 years of undoing what biden did. If dems win and biden it marks the end of American history, same for Harris. Dems want to buy friends and it never works. Republicans wanna eradicate anyone that crosses the line. No diplomacy. And just because I don't vote doesn't mean my opinion is wrong or that my opinion can't carry any weight.

You sure so have a strong opinion about people that don't vote, despite many of them signed up to go to war to defend your right to vote. And my pursuit of happiness doesn't include standing in line for 3 hours to vote for some a hole that is guaranteed to make my life harder than it already is.

Also, sending money does not help. Because there are so many people hands that touch it before it reaches its destination. Look at all the fraud cases coming up from people taking advantage and fraud from getting funds they didn't qualify for. Same old story. Nothing to prevent those that don't qualify from getting it, only years later they discover malfeance and then years to prosecute. By then the crime is valued more than the punishment. So sending 100 billion to Ukraine, the military may get 5 billion of it after the un touches it, takes their cut, then congress or parliament decide where the money goes, probably a pay increase, if anything left it goes to the military, but the higher officers claim a few bucks to make it nicer for them to live in war zone. Bigger housing, personal shower amd bathroom, new air conditioner, new truck to ride around in, and buy something local to bribe the local military officers he works with and grease their palms for info or favors. Then whatever is left goes to vehicles or weaponry.

Sad to say, but send out troops en mass with several ship convoys, attack from all sides and have several allies reinforce and jump in. Like they did in desert storm. Quick fast in a hurry, done in 8 weeks. And no more rebuild money. It is stupid you destroy 7 trillion in homes, business, historic sites and infrastructure from 80 years ago and update it with all our new and improved innovations. Now they are equals and no worry to pay for anything. Sucks that there would be collateral damage, but if enough innocent die, they will beg both sides to stop. And no it doesn't breed a new generation of haters , they always felt that way, just looking for the excuse to start complaining or to be violent. They would either refuse to fight for their country, or protest to end the war. Both sides. But since there is no punishment or deterrent for them not to continue fighting or starting a fight in the first place it will continue. Start a war get fined $50 and one year in jail. Or start a war and be killed upon capture, if we can't find you in a certain time frame we start executing your family on tv. Now. Which one will make you rethink invading someone. Thought so. For those claiming but they hit us too. Well, if you were on the front lines, you wouldn't be affected. However, I bet if you found out your family affected, you would go from capture and fine to wanting them all to yourself. It is easy to stand on a high horse and spout off things that can't be proven and hypothetical amd claim your side and views are more humane and more righteous. Especially when you never look the enemy in the eye knowing that it is either you or them that makes their mother cry.

"<span>I bet all those protesters and picketers all voted. That rallies, and organized gatherings are all only attended by voters.</span>"----At least they didn't protest on a coin site.
"<span>I wonder what blacks and women did before they could vote. I bet they had strong opinions too. But they don’t matter, they didn’t vote.</span>"----Apparently they did. They made a ruckus to gain the vote. What is yours about? To take it away again?
"<span>Another funny and overlooked fact Dear Jeff, is that on a couple occasions in the army, lot if others were with me at the time. I wonder how they voted.</span>"----None of them are here complaining about politics though, are they? We are not talking about them, we are talking about you.
Didn't we just have the "thanking the vets" conversation a day or two ago? My answer remains the same. Going forward I am going to ask veterans I talk to what they think about voting. Their responses will give me an idea whether they vote or not. You may recall, I never asked your voting status. I do not know about you, but I never would have expected a veteran would not vote before your admission. Of course, as long as they are not complaining about politics, I care not. As you say, it is their right to throw away.
Let it go, Dazed and Coinfused. You are 100% wrong to keep complaining about politics when you do not even vote. Can't you go back to the non-political comments you were managing just a few days ago? Shouldn't a veteran know when it is time to attack and when it is time to retreat? We can be all good whenever you are ready. I am the only one engaging with you politically, but I am confident everyone would like us to both shut up already. I am ready when you are ready. Cut out the constant partisan political comments, please.

I bet all those protesters and picketers all voted. That rallies, and organized gatherings are all only attended by voters. We need more government as everything is political and requires a vote. Nothing settled between 2 people. No bartering. No compromise, straight to social media to see what your elected official tells you to do. I wonder what blacks and women did before they could vote. I bet they had strong opinions too. But they don't matter, they didn't vote. Lot of the generation don't. Remember MTV Rock the vote. Then Stacy Abrams campaign to vote, paid for by taxpayers of course. Another funny and overlooked fact Dear Jeff, is that on a couple occasions in the army, lot if others were with me at the time. I wonder how they voted. So with that tid bit in mind, abstain from showing your gratitude for their service by not thanking the vets you encounter this weekend as there Is a good chance they didn't vote. Oh the humanity.

Every decade I keep waiting to see if it'll happen but so far no. There has never been a small-sized currency series year ending with a 2. All the other digits are represented at least once (series-1950, 1981, 1993, 1934, 1985, 1996, 1977, 1988, 1929...but none ending with a 2)

Maybe there'll be a series-2032...but I doubt it :-)

Hi Dazed and Coinfused,
You sure do have a lot of strong political opinions for a non-voter. You do not support <em>any</em> cash going for Israel and Ukraine? Freedom bad? We mostly give them both weapons, but we do give them both some cash too. I believe cash for freedom is <em>still</em> a better deal than Trump shipping our cash directly into his own pockets during <em>his</em> last time in office.
