Major D they have been available non stop since August 31 from at least 4:16pm EST. Here is a post of mine from September 1, replying to a poster on another board. Robert Thomson says: “Guess the demand for AWQs 3 roll quarter set has died. As of this posting time the 2023 Jovita Idar 3 roll PDS Quarters set is still available for purchase…”

Interesting catch and More Fun with US Mint Numbers! As of the last Mint sales report, they sold 3 of the Jovita Idar PDS sets, taking them to 12,598. The maximum product limit is 12,620.

Now he Fun with US Mint Numbers part? Using the Math I was as taught growing up, the difference between what has been sold and what could have been manufactured in totality is 22 PDS sets potentially, before the cap or maximum “Product Limit” is reached.

Yet, as of this posting you can place, in your cart or there is at least, 99 2023 PDS Jovita Idar 3-roll sets available??? Based on the US Mints latest published sales report/data, again there should only be 22 available maximum and more often than not; overall sales by the time an inventory or product runs it’s course, the sales are typically below deflared Product or Mintage limits?

Odd to say the least. Definitely, the interest is waning on the PDS sets, with the higher mintages and lack of the S Bag and S single roll options.

All it would or will take to reignite or spark interest are a few unique “error” coins coming to market and fetching a healthy premium; same press and these would be popular again as collectors sought out an example of the rare or new “error”? Maybe; maybe not?

Once those Director Strike coins were finally publicized and the first one sold at over $1;000($1,200+?), people were then willing to pay $2,000+, then $3,400, then $5,900+, so never say never?

So what begs to question? Did a bunch of consumers return unopened boxes of Jovita Idar PDS sets? Is the US Mint doing the same as with the 2023 Kennedy Halves and producing and selling more than stated product/Mintage limits? Or is the Mint putting out Bogus Sales Report numbers, trying to create FOMO and entice potential buyers into buying? Or is the system and all its automation, so horrible that there is no way of accounting for inventory and sales numbers with any kind of accuracy or real time type of data or information??? Or?
PS I’m a bit like you Major D, except, “Enquiring”
Minds want to know! LOL

This part: "But if I didn’t have all that I do, I wouldn’t gravitate to self medicating to get thru the day."A feeling of hopelessness and/or lack of self worth contributes heavily to constant self medication, in my opinion. Does not sound to me like you have ever had either of those problems so far. You have too much of one of those traits, in my opinion. If I am mistaken, share your story. Shame we couldn't do an experiment on you like the rich guys did to Dan Aykroyd in Trading Places. I am less sure than you are about how you would actually fare. Downright skeptical actually. Perhaps at the physical age you are now (you must be at least 50 physically based on some of your comments), you would be safe, already being quite set in your ways, but in your younger years, I am quite doubtful you would escape undamaged. I am not sure if you ever had little money and little hope for your future at any time during your life, much less for an extended, indefinite period of time. Not everyone appears to be as lucky in life as you are. Even the best people in the world could be beaten down to the point of despair if enough bad stuff happens to them. Some unlucky people only ever take a beating from life. A little empathy goes a long way in life.
Nice seeing you talking about your past here. That is something I enjoy seeing regular commenters share.
You didn't actually say anything crappy about our President this time, so you could end every one of your comments that way going forward if you so desire for all I care. It sends a message to everyone about which side you are on, without being hurtful to anyone about it. I took it as an attempt at humor. Am I right?
Are you starting to understand what I have been asking of you for weeks now when there is a diverse audience listening to you what you say here?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know. How about you? You have yet to put forth any reasoned arguments that could change my mind on any political topic you have brought up. My mind can and has been changed before. I occasionally agree with parts of what Dazed and Coinfused says. No reasoning whatsoever from you so far. Not one factual rebuttal to any point I have brought up yet, 24 days later. You haven't even made an effort. That reflects poorly on you, not on me. That is why I talk to people. Explain why I feel the way I do. No opinion can ever change if you do not expose yourself to other viewpoints and always insult people who disagree with you. Christo deserved none of your snark. He just asked 2 questions of you, one on this thread, the other days ago. How did you respond? You practically bit his head off the first time. Empathy is more than just another word. It is the key to keeping our country and this website intact. With understanding comes tolerance. The more you speak, the more everyone else here but you realizes how little you know. Stop acting like you are so sure you are correct about everything. I have told you and Dazed and Coinfused repeatedly how everything is not as black and white or simple as you keep making it out to be. Yet you continue spouting your political BS here. Last time from you was about the Iranian money from earlier today on this very thread.
Why would someone who thinks they know everything ask any questions ever again? You might have noticed I ask a lot of questions. I hope you noticed. That means I could not possibly believe I know everything yet. Do you see that? You could have saved yourself the "speculation" about me (in an unrelated post to Kaiser Wilhelm, no less. No politics or me at all there until you mention Kaiser Wilhelm's politics and me in your own reply. I am really starting to get to you, huh?) if you just spent a few minutes thinking before you speak. You have modified your recent behavior slightly I see. You said "maybe" with the exception of Jeff. Both leaving some wiggle room and using my correct name now. Progress. Just a little more effort from you on the political front and everyone can get back to coins.

Do you mean the Iranian money that is being held in South Korea? Yes, we will allow another country to give you your own money back if you give us our citizens. Seems like an excellent trade to me. We are getting something for nothing. I didn't think it was worth bringing that up in my post to Dazed and Coinfused the first time. Didn't I cover enough of his post? What did you think about the rest of my points? Still got nothing? Are you telling the families of those 5 American hostages to pound sand? Way to show some empathy. Bet you would be all for it if it was someone from your family. Trump negotiated with the Taliban to pull us out of Afghanistan. Released 5000 of their prisoners for nothing in return, too. Sounds like a poor trade to me. We got nothing for something. You must have missed that earlier post about that, huh? Hahahahahaha. He even wanted to invite them to Camp David for the negotiations. What an insult to all Americans. Are the Taliban terrorists to you, or are they your friends?
I gave both of you my compliments at the end of that post, no need to repeat myself in a separate post again.

Project much? The most misinformed individual here is calling out someone else for misinformation? Good one. PBS NewsHour has an audience of approximately 900K in 2022, according to the latest data I saw on a chart (PBS NewsHour viewership at Pew Research Center). Here is a little something about their trustworthiness too, the latest info I saw---"ARLINGTON, VA; February 2, 2021–For the 18th year in-a-row, Americans named PBS the “most trusted institution” in a nationwide survey, PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger announced today at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. According to the results, PBS continues to outscore government institutions and media sources—such as digital platforms, commercial broadcast and cable television, newspapers, and social media— in both trust and value." Wrong again, KKKraig. Twice within this single post of yours. Don't you get tired of being wrong all the time? I get my information from many different sources. Tell us where you get your information from, other than Faux News? Hope that is not the only place, or your just put your foot in your mouth again. I am just picturing in my mind you putting your foot in your mouth while your head is already stuck up your ass. Hahaha-hahahaha. You already shared you watch Faux in an earlier post, just as I shared all the places I regularly get my info from in an earlier post. So what specifically do you find wrong with the PBS NewsHour information? Still got nothing, huh? No mention of all the other sources and points I referenced in that post either, huh?Why do you bother replying to me at all KKKraig? You are not very good at this. Does this mean you really like my posts since you keep reading and responding to them? Not much fun being questioned, contradicted and made fun of here, is it KKKraig? Hold your money a little closer tonight, it will make you feel better--until tomorrow.

I am always sorry to see comment sections shut down elsewhere, Reb. We have a lot of freedom here. No moderation though. It is up to us. I tried asking for intervention here the first time with SENZA. Crickets. Shutting down comments isn't solving the comment problem, it is sweeping it under the rug to be dealt with later, when it will be an even worse problem. The solution is to allow no insults. Sure, that is just my opinion but it is one I based on reason, observation and experience. If your position cannot stand without insults, you got nothing. Something KKKraig still hasn't understood. Anything else is good to go. We need to start talking to each other with respect. We used to do that in America publicly, I remember. There were times I recall when I would be surprised to find that person I knew for years was from a different political party or was very religious. We still had a lot in common. We still do, but you wouldn't know it from the way we talk at each other nowadays. Not much listening to each other. Look at all the good compromising about slavery did before, during, and after the Civil War. Because we swept that problem under the rug originally (the 3/5s Compromise from 1787) we are still dealing with the effects of slavery 158 years after the Civil War, which itself started 74 years after the original attempt at compromise.

I am always sorry to see comment sections shut down elsewhere, Reb. We have a lot of freedom here. No moderation though. It is up to us. I tried asking for intervention here the first time with SENZA. Crickets. Shutting down comments isn’t solving the comment problem, it is sweeping it under the rug to be dealt with later, when it will be an even worse problem. The solution is to allow no insults. Sure, that is just my opinion but it is one I based on reason, observation and experience. If your position cannot stand without insults, you got nothing. Something KKKraig still hasn’t understood. Anything else is good to go. We need to start talking to each other with respect. We used to do that in America publicly, I remember. There were times I recall when I would be surprised to find that person I knew for years was from a different political party or was very religious. We still had a lot in common. We still do, but you wouldn’t know it from the way we talk at each other nowadays.

You do you, Jeff. I generally ignore Craig's & D&C's posts because 1) most of them don't have much to do with coins & collecting and 2) if I wanted to hear Fox News talking points, I'd go to the original source.

I understand your frustration. I think MAGA-types represent the worst of us. They live to troll anything, anywhere, all the time. But, that's no reason to join them in their descent to the bottom. It the subject is about coins, no matter the poster, I'll join in if I'm inclined. If it's about far-right politics and culture wars, I'll ignore and move on.

Thank you for laying the points out so clearly and concisely Major D. In my opinion, telling me to shut up while trying to simply ignore what the troll says is simply telling the wrong person to shut up in the first place. I would still follow the will of the majority here if that is what they want from me. KKKraig obviously cannot say the same.

It is not about winning, Reb. That is the way KKKraig thinks this is played. It is about countering every bit of BS until KKKraig realizes there is no point in continuing.
He is not having as much as fun here as he used to. He is starting to feel a reluctance to check the comments now to see what kind of abuse he is going to face today. A little nervousness. You can see it in his posts, getting a bit shriller and testier (look at his reply to Christo above. Bit testy considering the mildness of Christo's post, wouldn't you say?. This is only the 2nd post I saw Christo make directly to KKKraig. The first was even milder than this one, and KKKraig snapped back at his first one with an immediate childish insult). It is starting to effect his outside life. Some people just cannot understand how they are making others feel until they experience those same feelings for themselves. If he later denies this in a future post, you will know I speak truth. He shouldn't even bothering reading my posts now, if he follows his own advice to Christo.
Not my fault he is a slow learner. He is leaving a permanent record of just how stupid he is. Feel free to ignore my posts until this is over. Or even afterwards if that is your choice. I am acting like a troll right now. Just like KKKraig. Only the trolling is happening to him for probably the first time, not by him. Do you think he sees his reflection when he looks at my replies to him? Or do you think you should tell me to stop replying to his posts, but allow him to keep posting his? I just told CaliSkier if he wants to change his vote from coins to make it only 6 he could do so. You and CaliSkier would make 2 of 5 (you didn't weigh in on the coin versus politics vote, did you. I somehow forgot if so. That would make 8 votes for coins if I forgot you, so 2 out of 6 votes) so far if you both want just me to shut up. I will stop countering KKKraig if that is what the majority wants, but my experience tells me that would be a mistake for any of those who care about this site.
Reiterate telling me to shut up, while allowing KKKraig to continue speaking. Tell us both (regularly but only occasionally) to shut up, or ignore us both going forward. Reiterate your choice to me, Reb. If you and CaliSkier want, I can save you from even replying and assume no reply (by 2 days from now) means you are both ignoring me going forward and I will just continue engaging with KKKraig as I have been.
Thanks for weighing in.
