Dang Kaiser Wilhelm you are one sharp cookie and I like how you as well as many others here on CoinNews are “thinkers”! Guess that’s what I’d get at a “Mix and Match” sale? I’d like a matching set of S rolls, please thanks! Actually not a bad marketing idea. Mix and match, meets bait and switch? First year offer mix and match subscription, with only a few collectors catching on that you could order 2-S rolls and didn’t have to chose one of each. The secondary market blows up, prices sky rocket and the following year, do a normal U.S. Mint unannounced move and change the small print wording to read “only 1 roll of each per 2 roll set”. Most subscribers wouldn’t catch it and the Mint could claim another victory! The ambit has not been transparent at all on so many issues over these past 10-20 years, I could see them doing something like that or at least wouldn’t put it past them. We probably should be careful of ideas we give them? LOL
