We are two sides of the same coin. There is no resolution without truth and sincerity. But it seems many keep moving the goalposts or talk out of both sides of their neck. I hate to see JS go, but in all fairness I only recall one or two posts from him. As far as him leaving, you said he made it clear ago just talk coins, but yet he was recently here. I too am tired of politics and division and finger pointing and accusations. That is why I came to this site. But it wasn't long before opinions and politics were interjected and thus, when in Rome. I love learning. And facts help achieve results. But you can also tell how many ants short a picnic some people are. I try to post links and quotes and to show both sides of an debate. While everyone has an opinion, that does not necessarily mean the opinion is correct, nor does it mean that is the only opinion to have. More than one way to skin a cat, and filets usually cost the most. But like a black comedian said, I don't recall which one at the moment., but it was

"I don't want them taking down flags and monuments. Leave em up. Because if I'm in town or passing through and I need gas, I know that I need to take my business a few more miles up the road. But if yall take all the flags down and remove the monuments, it's like playing roulette and black don't always win despite what Wesley snipes tells you"

Consider the source. Trust but verify. And don't believe your eyes. Truth stranger than fiction. (Look at the cluster of people in about a week killed for wrong house or delivering food or package)

I hope JS stays, but if we play by his rules every article comment sexton would be

1. Do you like or hate coin
2. Will you buy or pass on this coin? Why or why not?
3. Will you subscribe to this coin? Why or why not?
4. Do you think they are charging too much for this coin?
5. Do you think too many being made?

Thanks see you tomorrow. Brush up on your 5 answers

Cuz talking metals
1 are you happy or sad metal went up or down today
2. Does your guess match the guess of these speculators that are also guessing and statistically wrong majority of the time?
3. Yes we know bitcoin isn't really made of gold coin

Or

1. Are you happy or sad that professional grading companies destroyed faith that slabbed coins are genuine and totally not counterfeit.

I think you were a bit hard on J S here, Kaiser Wilhelm. He basically just gave his opinion (everyone is entitled) and reason for leaving and I thought it was pretty mild. He did not even name any names. He could very well be pointing at or including my posts in his critique but I was not offended. He made it clear at least two years ago that he only wants coins discussed here. I hold a different opinion. I am not sure any site, company or individual can completely avoid politics anymore, and I do not think they should. I think the biggest reason Americans are so divided today is because there are few places both sides can talk to each other without the conversation devolving into simply insults. Time to try to change that. In my opinion, not talking to each other is precisely why we are so divided today. At least we all have coins as a common starting point here. We already know this site takes a completely hands off approach to moderation. I do not think we could manage to ban talking about politics here if we all wanted to. But we can try to make sure whatever anyone talks about here is civil, at least. I am less interested in anyone's actual opinion than I am in how or why they hold that opinion. I cannot learn the true reason why through reading and returning insults, I can only learn the why when I hear the person share their reasoning, preferably factual reasoning. While I come here to learn about coins, I am thrilled to learn <strong>anything</strong> new. If I learn about something new unrelated to coins here I think that is a bonus, not a penalty. This could very well be the only place someone might hear a reasoned opinion or a fact from outside of their little political or experienced world. I cannot condemn J S (or anyone) for wanting to leave the site for whatever reason they have, and I am actually appreciative he took the time to share his reason with us. That says to me he cares and made his choice to leave reluctantly. Time will tell how accurate his opinion about the future of this site (TOAST) is. If talking about politics here will doom this site, then I think all of America is doomed. We can start talking together or continue down this path of falling completely apart. I do not believe either America or this site is doomed, and yes, that is just <strong>my</strong> opinion. I also reserve the right (same as anyone) to change it if new info later convinces me otherwise. Maybe J S will manage to find a site that makes him happy by only talking coins 24/7. Perhaps there is no such site and he will eventually return. It is all up to him, and I hold no ill will either way.

Because politics never influenced metals. Gubmint never confiscated coins or metals. Gubmint never strayed from the gold backed dollar. Gubmint never sanctioned gold from certain countries (definitely not russia).

It is the policies and views of the elected that draw such comments and topics of discussion. Just like oil. Go to an oil site and it'll cover nothing but oil. They won't discuss how sanctions will affect only Americans and deliver record profit to say, I don't know russia. It's good to know the big guy is getting his 10% and has helped China and other enemies secure oil on the cheap. Our reserves are low. To top off again will cost a fortune. If a war broke out America wouldn't be able to fuel the military, as the debt ceiling is sky high. And with high interest rates, the government is forced to cut American funding for citizen programs and retirement programs and are paying more now in just interest payments than if they just paid to finish a wall. Biden is a 50 year experiment that only proves you can't fix stupid. More flip flops than a souvenir shop in Hawaii.

These topics all weigh on politics. Epa impact. Green initiatives, slave labor, sanctions, recession, inflation. Ain't it funny that the premise of metals is a store of wealth or hedge against inflation, but with record 40 year increase, gold peaked prior to recession or depression starting. Silver peaked years ago and is twice as high as current high was recently. Not like a green initiative that kills fossil fuels well before infrastructure is in place will impact price of palladium. Not like a country's current ally/allies were once enemies. I mean America didn't interfere in French and Indian War, or war of 1812. Or assist France in fighting Britain. No wait. Germany and Italy. They were always neutral and never harmed anyone. They never stole art, confiscated gold or anything. Even Switzerland has chosen a side now and sending weapons. Antarctica doesn't count because it's a continent. But nobody ever sent weapons of war there.

But let's go with your theorem.

In today's coin news. Someone will copy and paste the description off the mint website and announce its sale early. Or a couple hours before they go on sale. Or we can post that somehow the mint, gubmint, is so good with money that none of the coins listed were oversold. That the strict limit of 400,000 coins somehow show sales of 2 million (not a specific example). Somehow a couple 2021 limited edition silver sets have been bought after its been sold out for almost 2 years. Must have been found in the trunk of bidens vette. But to continue your point. 95% of this site is a mirror of the mint site. Product schedule tells you what's coming this month. Price dictated hours before actual sale, but only thing to really discuss is, well I collect clad sets so getting this one. Collect ase so getting this one. Love Morgan but too expensive. Gonna pass or decrease or increase my subscription.

Anyone stop to think that all the complaints about bots and flippers and scalpers (technically we're all scalpers) and issue with online ordering just led to mint spending a fortune on server upgrade, increasing bandwidth, installing verification software, designing a waiting room, adding a I'm not a bot verifier (that mostly just made you sign in over and over). And with so many complaints can't get coin, now limits removed, populations removed, day one limits increased. All despite a shortage of silver and gold. (Say it ain't, and then tell me why without explaining how the morgan and peace not released last year).

Ok guys. No need to keep this site bookmarked. Just go to mint, read descriptions, check product schedule and buy. Yall don't need to waste time coming here to complain about $80 silver coin when silver is $25 (maybe $40 after premium) or how many refunds flippers got. Or that mint sold 700 coins that weren't available for months. So most likely original buyer got it, used 5x loop, saw defect (guessed a 68 or 69) no errors, so return for refund. Now back in the mint and finally back in the system to buy, next report should show 500 new sales, as 600 were returned and sold for the 3rd time. And, you won't have to see ad after ad after ad in our response in the comment section.

In other news, next ase gonna look the same as the one from last month. Different shine and mint mark maybe but it'll look the same. Quarter still has Washington on it. New penny still has Lincoln. Next year ase gonna look exactly like this year except year will change. Maybe a RP. Or Ultra Cameo. Or frosted, maybe even colored. Maybe biden sign a executive order mandating the ase replace the American flag with a rainbow color one. Or that when it comes time for Trump presidential coin or medal that Alec Baldwin in dressed as trump in drag will be on the obverse with SNL on the reverse. Funny. Dude hates guns. Can't stand em. Said over and over how we should ban them. End the nra. But ironically, makes a western (where guns are everywhere) and kills somebody while playing with it on a lunch break. And instead of taking a loss, went immediately back to finishing the movie. But to stay on topic, I wonder if he'll use period appropriate coins like a morgan, or pay in gold dust and nuggets.

HI J S,
Sorry to see you go. You hung on a long time after SENZA. I would say this political stuff comes and goes in waves. Also, I figured by now you would know which posters you consider the biggest offenders and just ignore their posts. A lot easier to do with written posts than verbal or visual. Even in political threads here there is sometimes good coin info. I found the recent posts about the mint audit and about Palladium useful even though they veered into politics. Well, it is your choice and I do not blame you for making it. Good luck.

HI J S,
Sorry to see you go. Good luck.

I like trends. Benchmarks. Dude on eBay had zero bids this week on 2021 CC Privy Morgan <strong>WITH BOX/COA MINT CODE 21XC </strong>$249. Now re-auctioning same coin. Same price. {0 bids}, as I type. FWIW.

Sorry about the coin news, there. I<span>nterrupted</span> your political B.S. I know! Come to an alleged coin website ... spammed with politics!

When I sign onto this site, I get a pop-up window saying, basically, "We'd love to hear from you."

Boys, boys, boys, and, yes, self-professed senior elites ... after much observation ... I see another trend. This site, as it has evolved, is TOAST. Done. I desire coin news. I see politics. Whose? I don't care. I clicked for coin news.

Enjoy your (dwindling) selves. This website, sadly, is not my hood.

In short, {0 bids}.

Uncirculated Morgan finally sold out (well at least under subscription)
assuming 10% for the day of the sale that leaves 27,500 left
Peace Unc around 700 left.
I originally had subscribed to 1 then increased to 2 when the took the limits off and the coins were selling like hot cakes, and then in the last month it took forever to sell the couple of thousand. I dropped back down to 1 each.

D & C,

Don't get Lemon & Carlson confused - Don Lemon is a wealthy, black, gay man from CNN & Tucker Carlson is a wealthy, white, straight man from Fox News. Both fired on the same day without warning. Crazy!
Maybe they could get a job on cable t.v. on HSN and sell overpriced coins...
