Righto, Sir Kaiser! Didn’t the Mint just allow the Authorized Bulk Purchasers to pick up over 50% of the allotted mintage of the 2022-W $25 Reverse Proof American Palladium Eagle (product/mintage limit = 7,500 coins).

Between the 2 of us, we might have made your task a bit easier, harry guss. But I think most of the info you are looking for will be in the comments, not an article itself and I would be surprised if you can search comments. From my experience here, the info you are looking for might be in the comments of an article that has nothing at all to do with bulk buyers. You are going to have a lot of articles to search through. I seem to recall there was talk of that subject in some comments not too long ago. Just the past few months, I believe. I think I can remember comments about that subject came up more than once, but have no idea how long ago or which article/s? that/those was/were.

Thanks for the info, Kaiser Wilhelm. Out of curiosity, I looked at the 1148th page. The articles are 15 years old. Picked an article about planchets and saw people have been asking questions in the comments as recently as 1 month ago. As far as I know, no regular posters here monitor old articles for comments. If those 3 latest comments on the main page were to show more comments (my idea-show the single latest comment from 10 different articles instead of the latest comments, period), perhaps some of those old ones would get answered occasionally.
I have been enjoying the peace here the past month or so. Looks like we won the civility battle. Whether the war is over or this is just a lull is still an open question. Looks like we lost Major D, though. I have not seen him comment in a while. I was so grateful for his help with SENZA.

Thank you both so much for your responses, they are very helpful. Of particular interest to me are previous topics and articles relevant as to how the U.S. Mint has a history of favoring bulk buyers over every day collectors like us. I don’t know how to convey that or articulate very well what has gone on in the past for a discussion on another coin site of which I am a member. I remember some folks here have articulated that information very well in short order and don’t want to write a book about it on the other site. Thanks again.

I saw a comment in the “latest comments” part of the main web page last week or so that was commenting on an article that was 7 years old, so it appears they do not disappear. I am also not sure how to find a specific old article, but I did see they have a “search” box at the top right of the page, maybe that would work. I personally do not usually have much luck with searches on any websites. They rarely pull up what I was looking for. If you are talking an article you looked at in the past, I started to “bookmark”/”add to favorites” individual pages I think I will want to revisit in the future. I was not sure if I would be able to find any article that became more than a week or two old as I rarely remember the article title. The bookmark function is working for me so far, but my bookmark/favorites list consists of 5-10% CoinNews articles now. Hopefully someone more computer literate will add to my comments. I could learn something too. Good luck.
