Hello Leslie,
I think Kaiser Wilhelm must have missed your comment. I believe most people who post here do not monitor old articles so have little chance of noticing a new post unless they see it as one of the most recent 3 comments on the main page, which is how I saw your post yesterday. I have yet to sell any coins, so I cannot help you except with the most basic of suggestions. I am skeptical you are finding so many error coins, I have never found even one, but it is possible. You need to find someone who does know coins to help you. Like car mechanics, I have found it tough to find a trustworthy coin dealer. And remember, if you sell to them you will only get about half of the value you see them selling for. You should try asking everyone you know if they know any long time coin collectors. If you are tied to a church, ask your priest or fellow parishioners if they know someone. Just remember that just because they are tied to your church does not mean they are trustworthy. I do not like eBay and such because of the amount they take off the top of anything you sell. You would still get more than selling to a dealer, I believe. I am leery of selling through a newspaper or Craigslist because you have no idea if the person who expresses interest is serious or a scammer. I did see that some local police stations offer to let you complete your transaction at the police station. Talk to them to see how it works. If that is an option open to you it would have to help assure the potential buyer is serious, and offer some personal safety. Also nice in that the potential buyer does not find out where you live. I have never attended a coin show or convention, but you might find some help at one of those. Definitely do not just take your coins to the grocery store unless you are sure they just ordinary value coins. Sorry to hear about the troubles you and your husband are going through. I hope the coins are as valuable as you think they are. If you know how to post pictures to this site (I do not) You might get some people here to give their general opinion on your coins values that way.
Maybe you will get some more input from others when they see my new posting on the main page. If you do not get a response to your question/s on an old thread after a day or so, try posting it again to a brand new article. I recommend not posting your email publicly anywhere ever again unless you created the email specifically for that posting. I am not sure if Kaiser Wilhelm (or anyone else here) will want someone they do not know to have their email address. I do not know if this site would help (they seem to take a hands off approach here) but next time you want someone to have your email here you could try sending an email to the people who run the site, telling them to privately pass on your email address to the person in question. I have thought of doing that myself, but am unsure if they would even notice my request. I have often wondered if any of the people who post on this site live anywhere near me. Good luck, Leslie.

Kaiser,
I just created a message to you...grrr it disappeared into lord knows where...grrr.so short version. To all of you, first time I have read comments on this site & I want to Thank you all for the sheer pleasure I have had reading all your comments & good, humored bantering back & forth & bravo at doing so at no one's expense! What a great group of clearly above average intelligence you all are. I am not certain if me seeking opinions & advice from you is offensive, if so please forgive me, but I figured if anyone could steer me in the right direction clearly this group could? I have been keeping coins for years, no particular reason, just have & not a great abundance, but after doing a little research I apparently have lucked upon some good ones. Below novice in coin collecting would be accurate in describing my knowledge level, now Firearms, Hunting, HorseTraining,Farming,Ranching,Big Game,Small Game,Vintage Glass, Vintage BlingBling,Rock Collecting...those are all my loves & passions & at 68, been doing them a long time...lol My darling husband has been fighting cancer for this last year, 3 major surgeries, hospitals, treatments & trust me navigating serious medical treatment & care in the thrusts of a Pandemic has been challenging & a nightmare &us being in the Sunsets of our lives rather than the Sunrise has added to the challenge...lol The balances after insurance pays on anything cancer, well its crippling. I would like to parlay these coins that I after research have found like on Ebay being valued & selling between $200 & $2000 & many, I find my coin to be in better condition. I have 18 serious 2022 Mouth error coins, 5 serious gouges, Kaiser, I have only checked about 8 of my 100's aside from the mouth error coins & 5 appear to be quite valuable, all either mint mark missing, errors, all kinds of errors, now these have identical errors as the ones listed on Ebay & several other sites, but I have some coins with like errors & then additional errors not listed & I am clueless how to value them, I am a prime candidate to take to the cleaners because of my lack of knowledge & it scares me, I need to help pay these bill balances off. Is there a place, site, person, that can help guide me a bit, that I can send pics too &them say "Oh Leslie, there is this, that, possibly worth this or that, or contact him or her & so forth. Of course, I understand knowledge isn't free & costs would be involved, but can I afford it, should I just bag the idea & take my bag of coins when I grocery shop next time. I felt lucky & encouraged when 5 out of eight checked their likeness was posted for sale between $200 & $2.000 on each of the 5 coins, my gosh do you know how that would help pay down the gut retching balance we are responsible for? I am already selling some of my Vintage Glass Collection, Firearms, taking on more horse training all to chip away at the thousands, my gosh how do the poor people pay, I guess they get help, maybe... we were dumb to work our fingers to the bone in our careers & retire after 39 & 42 years full time years...lol nobody's helping us, so I have to keep trying to pull the damn rabbit out of the hat...lol.. You have to keep a good attitude & sense of humor & still find joy or it eats you alive, right! I hope I have not offended you by seeking your advice, guidance, knowledge, you certainly have years a lifetime maybe of know how & so thought I would take the risk & beg for direction?? If you don't care to advise, suggest etc. I totally & humbly respect & understand & want to just thank you if you read my plea in its entirety, you're a saint! I will when I can continue to research, read & try & figure out how to best try & make these coins help us by selling them & hope I am not too far off base when I take the chance, I could so get addicted to this passion like I am with all my passions mentioned above, I find it all so fascinating & intriguing & before I know it, I have been up all night again just reading & reading about coins & their history & over coffee in the morning poor Randy has to listen to me ramble on about this coin, that coin, did you know,,,lol Kaiser, again my gratitude if your read this in its entirety, I appreciate your time & kindness & hold no malice if you choose never to respond to this old strange lady. I will continue to read comments on this site, you all have great & important things to share, thank you for that. I will include my Email, if you care to respond, wishing you & yours good health, some wealth & joy & discovery in each day lived!
