I prefer this design to the Type 1. I never cared for the heraldic reverse. I felt the Mint could do better. Type 2 is an improvement.

I see as of June 16th, it’s still available.

June 9th, coin number has increased, 16,086 as of 11:30 a.m. EST.

As of Monday morning, June 6th, there are 15,995 coins available. It didn’t think their sales would last this long. Will wonders never cease?

The order is marked “SHIPPED” on the US Mint website when the “fulfillment department” puts the coins in an addressed box, moves the box to a “shipment area”, and notifies the shipper that the box is available to be picked up.
It can take a while for the shipper to pick up the box and start shipping.
You and I do not consider it shipped until the shipper picks it up.
But the US Mint considers it shipped when the coins in your order are boxed and addressed.
I have seen up-to 7-day delays between when an order of mine was put into SHIPPED status on US website, and when the order is first picked up by the shipper.
I do not pay extra for expedited shipping … It might be if you paid for expedited shipping that the total delay would be shorter, or it might be that if you paid for expedited shipping then only the time from shipper pick-up to delivery is shorter … I don’t know which it is.

Ron, I would be wary of purchasing 2010-W Uncirculated (Burnished) Silver American Eagles at any price since none were minted that year. The Mint did not offer or produce any Silver, Gold or Platinum Uncirculated (Burnished) American Eagles in 2009 and 2010.
