I clicked on some older articles last night and found some comments of mine from 3-5 days ago, and I also noticed it looks like I am talking to myself or answering questions no one asked. I also do not like people forcing their beliefs on others, but unlike many others, I can talk about religion and politics or any other subject without getting scared, defensive or angry (well, sometimes angry. Willful ignorance does tend to piss me off. Rarely happens today, happened fairly often in my youth. I had a sharp tongue in my youth, I am kinder in my old age. I just do not see the point in insulting people anymore, at least intentionally). I just like to understand why people think the way the way they do. It seems to me, most people do not do much thinking. I spent the first part of my life absorbing the world around me, then figuring out who I am (knew who I wanted to be at age 17, by age 21 I was that person), and the rest has been trying to figure out why people believe what they believe. I have discovered most people do not know why they believe what they believe. They really do not closely examine their feeling or beliefs. The ones that make me shake my head the most are the ones who say "because thats the way it has always been" or "because it is legal/illegal". Those answers do not explain "why". And just because something is declared legal or illegal does not mean it was a just decision. The government does not like to hear this, but each individual must decide for themselves if any particular law is just or unjust and whether they will follow it. If we do not do that, then an unjust law could never be changed. How can you form valid opinions about others actions or motivations if you do not even understand your own? Congrats on your bottle of whiskey (forgive me if it is something else. I never was big on hard liquor. I tend to drink at a steady volume when I am drinking, so I would get blitzed in 1-2 hours on the hard stuff but could drink 8-12 hours on beer). I have an occasional shot, but that is it. I would barely drink any alcohol ever if recreational Cannabis was legal in my state. On an unrelated note, but on subject for a change (I dont think I have made a coin related comment in a month or more. Anyone reading my comments lately is sure learning a lot about me.), there havent been many articles on this site lately that really cover coins I am interested in. I know it is just a cycle. There is not much coming out at the Mint currently that I am interested in. I would not mind seeing an occasional article about properly caring for your coins here (I would like to see an article about the pros and cons of various coin holders, for one), and I think it would be interesting having an article on this site revisiting older coins and their current value, like a car site might talk about an older model car. There could be articles about an old Morgan dollar or dollars, Roman coins, or coins from any era or country. You know, a deep dive article on whatever subject, once a month or once a week or some other regular interval. Whenever I see old coin/currency articles on this site, it is usually about pushing an upcoming auction. How to get the most value when selling your coins would be another article I would find interesting. Based on things I have read in your comments previously SENZA, You already have a lot of experience with that subject. I have never sold a coin. Whew. I have been typing up a storm the past week or so, I am worn out. To anyone who read this whole thing, I am impressed with your perseverance. Thanks!

I see you now, but I still noticed some of your comments and some of my comments have been removed - I thinks it's likely anything related to the thread that affected Kaiser. I do see other Threads where I answered Kaiser or vice-versa and it just looks like I was talking to myself now.

I think the morale of this story is people need to get along -as I said before - it's amazing when people share but it's forbidden when people try to force their personal beliefs on others -

Best Regards

I remember that incident Kaiser posted a photo of a man spanking a little boy so I posted a photo of an adult woman getting spanked and they yanked my photo but left the little boy photo posted which of course raised suspicions of whom actually runs this little Eureka and what their preferences are.

However, the incident I'm talking about was prior to that - as I said I don't know what he posted but all of his comments were removed and he was not heard from for a few days - then he returned briefly to say his comments were under review and he was on some kind of probation.

There is another factor here - I believe registered members can make themselves invisible to anyone they want.

It's all kind of irrelevant there are about a half dozen of us in all and I have no idea if our comments are blasted into the World Wide Web aka Twitter or if were just contained to our own little Metaverse right here.

Jeff, I feel the same way you do and hope Sir Kaiser is well and returns soon (maybe with a new and improved Pickelhaube).

Rich and Jeff, I'm on a very old Dinosaur of a computer which does not digest data like a modern computer - also I frequently get notices of this website or some entity on it attempting to access the data on my computer.

All of that being said, I do not see any of Kiaser or Jeff's old comments on my computer when I access this little Eureka we have here.

Finally, as I mentioned previously, I'm fairly new here but I do remember this happening once before- I wasn't on line at the time so I don't know exactly what Kaiser posted but he went missing along with all of his comments and then returned a few days later. And as I have stated before, I'm still not totally convinced that every entity on here isn't just one OCD Kaiser talking to himself and his imaginary friends but I find it amusing and here I am.

Kaiser often posted about Fight Club

I hope the same for Kaiser Wilhelm. I would not have been following this site as long as I have been if not for him, and because he was welcoming to all I eventually felt comfortable posting my own thoughts here. Something I am not comfortable doing on other sites.

Hi Jeff, as far as I can tell your comments have not vanished and are still there as originally posted. However, all of Sir Kaiser's past comments have been wiped out and he has not posted any new comments since Sunday. I hope Sir Kaiser is alright and that he can sort things out and rejoin our coin commentary forum here on CoinNews. .
