There once was a man named Nicola Tesla (A real visionary) after all he put WiFi on the Titanic and it’s not his fault they didn’t know how to use it but Elon Musk ripped off Nicola Tesla and sadly the now-generation bother to fact check their Heroes.

Elon is part of the Crypto Fad he helped create it and manipulates it often – I fear that if you and I did exactly the same thing we would end up with vertical bar vision aka jail cell.

Did you know Elon Musk did not start Tesla? I only found that out within the past year, and I started reading about him in 2013. He bought the company from whoever did start it. I am not sure he is a force for Good. What are his plans for Twitter? He says he is a “Free Speech Absolutist”. He will let Trump back on Twitter. I am not necessarily against that, but I will be if he lets Trump say what he wants but lets Trump block all the people who contradict what Trump says. That will be the test for me. And much like we mostly succeed at here, comments should never need to devolve into name calling (which is what Trump always reverts to when someone disagrees with him. Which means it is highly unlikely Twitter will soon be known as the site of polite and respectful discourse.) Will Musk think name calling is acceptable/normal? Apparently, the answer must be “yes” (calling yourself a “Free Speech Absolutist” does not leave a whole lot of wiggle room there). Name calling has nothing to do about explaining why you hold a certain position on any particular subject. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with other people on any particular subject but we should be able to understand why someone has the position they have. As soon as the conversation devolves into name calling that possibility ends. Twitter is banned in China, but Tesla is all over China. What if China tells Musk “Make sure you never say anything bad about China on Twitter or we will not treat Tesla with the favorable treatment we do now?” All sorts of Western companies/people already self censor (or publicly apologize for–See NBA, NFL, WWE and many others) their comments about China if they do business there. I saw China has been making sure Tesla’s manufacturing was minimally impacted even though everyone else there was in strict lockdown (his employees were “allowed” ((or should that be “forced”?)) to spend the lockdown at the plant. The article did not mention if other Western companies were allowed to do that). If we see Twitter allowed back in China after Musk takes it over, what secret deal did Musk make to allow that to happen? Even if nothing changes over there will China pressure Musk to allow Chinese propaganda to have free rein on Twitter here? Force Twitter to block Tweets critical of China? As a private company could we even find out if that happens? Time will tell which side Musk is on, but I am starting to not trust his motives. Much like is happening in Russia right now, I expect Western assets in China will eventually be confiscated. Will he hold to the public ideals he is spouting or will he quietly cave to China’s demands? As favorably as China has been treating Tesla, could Musk already be compromised? In other words, is the Twitter acquisition being made by Musk for the benefit of China somehow? Even if it is not, with the economic hold China has over Musk, China might be able to turn it to their benefit anyway. Depends on if Musk is privately the same person he declares himself to be publicly. In my opinion, there is only about a 20% chance of that. I have a slightly (and I mean slightly) higher opinion of Bezos right now, but I am still suspicious of his motives too. I have read less about him than I have about Musk.
