Where did you live?  The only Franklin found, not by me but by my younger brother, was in the ground.  I believe it was a 1956.  I didn&#039;t know there were Franklin Half dollars until the late &#039;70s.  All I remember were Walking Liberty half dollars and those were only available from dealers.  We&#039;d find a few 40% silver Kennedy halves in rolls from our local bank.]]></description>
