Today I received the colorized Purple Heart commemorative coin. I can’t think of a nicer commemorative I have owned. So beautiful in hand compared to the pictures. Anyone who has ordered this coin will be very happy.

In reply to Low Tech Sr.. The thing about coins is that they may hold their value plus some. They never pay interest or dividends. However, it is a great way to diversify. Most who collect do it because they enjoy it and yes they are a fun “conversation piece” as you put it.

I’m impressed with the depth of your perceptions. I had a high number in the Draft so never served. But your Biden comment made me realize that I deserved this coin after being wounded by good ole Uncle Joe. Hopefully he won’t go in for the kill …

On the other hand I get my taxes done tomorrow so I’ll see if that tax promise he made during the election was a bigger lie now than even I thought it was then.
