I have found 24 W Porters in the last 11 and a half months and none in the previous years. When I search rolls of quarters from the bank I usually can count on finding one in every 35 to 50 rolls. When they were first distributed in 2019 and 2020 you could expect to be finding one W quarter in every five roles but not now. I did get lucky a couple weeks ago and found 3 and 20 rolls. It's tough finding I'm these days especially when the bank lobbies are open one day and close the next day. The other coin that is hard to find right now is the 2021 Tuskegee Airmen quarter. They're almost as hard to find in my area is the W quarter. Good hunting.

I prefer this obverse design over the one used since 1986. I never cared for their version. I only wish it could've been used from the beginning.

I see the ASEs aren't as popular as in previous years. The Morgans and Peace are getting hit with returns. I'd hope they'd be made available for people who missed out first time around. I really appreciated having another chance to buy a set of reverse proof ASEs.

Domenic, the Mint also gave the obverse a refresh. This included a number of differences in how the obverse design looks on the Type 2 coins compared to how it appears on the Type 1 coins (on which former Chief Engraver John Mercanti had made some small modifications to the original design to make the coins strike better), including “2021” appears in a larger and different font. As the Mint put it, "The obverse features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman’s full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. The use of technological advancements resulted in a design that is now a closer reflection of Weinman’s original vision and includes the addition of his traditional artist mark. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2021.”" So as you observed, one of the key features of the American Eagle Silver Proof coin obverse redesign is the 2021 text font more emulates the font from 1916.

I probably missed it somewhere but i have a question only cause i just noticed it.......Why was the date made larger on the new type 2 ASEs? The top of the date hits the "plain" liberty walks on.....it really skews the look As far as the reconciliation of 2019...i KNOW they will blame covid...but with any normal business reconciliation is normally done with an inventory the beginning of following year...not 2 years later....looks fishy....of course with what we have observed over the last few months with mintage numbers fluctuating wildly.....im not surprised. .
