Those of you who are still waiting for the CC and O privy 2021 Morgan coins can rest assured that you are only thus far SAVED from disappointment and angst, as these coins upon arrival are sure to only DISAPPOINT further – based on the lack of quality, the lack of a 70 score due to various “spots” and unusual “dings”, maybe a strike-through or two, the ever so rare “coin burn” mark across the check of Miss Liberty or the neck of the reverse eagle (we’ve seen both) or alas, the infamous “ring ding”, sure to disappoint even the laxest of collectors, and the fact that the extras you had hoped to sell as the once sky-high premiums are now dwindling faster than Biden’s approval rating, for any profits expected for your planned good deeds to some fellow collector now proven less profitable than months and months ago when the order was frustratingly placed during a 10 min period of website crashes sometime back in the summer.
So, you see my dear friends, sometimes bad fortune is actually your good fortune, often referred affectionately as a “blessing in disguise” … I assure you this is the case. And last, those who longed for an original Morgan surface strike, complete with high levels of luster and cartwheel action, also to be disappointed, as the new coins have the surface strike of a modern commemorative, and not the lovely Morgan’s of times past….
So gladly take your refund, dear friends, and use the money to purchase a “real” Morgan dollar – can I suggest perhaps a 1885 CC “proof like” example instead?? You’ll be glad you did…!
Cheers – a “never again” modern Morgan and Peace collector….

I was going to file a claim but as Domenic & you have noted, we have these emails acknowledging a problem. I had already paid my cc bill. Hopefully they process replacement orders for us by Friday. And then the waiting begins, again!

In reply to Steve J.. I received the same email, as mine was “ lost” somewhere between the mint and the USPS…I’m going to “assume” it’s now going to show up. My cc bill arrived today and was wondering if I should pay it or not, as the charge for these 3 coins was posted on the bill. With the Mint’s 30 day window also near, wasn’t sure what to do. I’m going to take a chance and not file a claim. Hope I don’t lose out. I’ve got to assume since they are emailing this late, acknowledging things have not been sent out that they would make an exception if for whatever reason I had to send it back. I know, I should know better reading others problems…

In order to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, we will process a replacement order for you by Friday, 11/26/2021. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with new tracking information once your replacement order has shipped. Thank you for your patience as we sought resolution to this issue.

I personally feel we are the victims of insider sticky fingers {either at the mint or usps} or just inept processing where the order was printed and not affixed to box. id surely HOPE its not a case of boxes falling off some conveyor but i put nothing past USPS or the mint. The article that was mentioned in coinworld does bring up a whole other scenario. The mystery thickens.....

No movement on my order. Identical to your’s. I have no faith in the Mint. I hate to lose $344.95 (4 coins + 4.95 shipping). They say please be patient. We have been! You may be right with your assumption. I’ll keep waiting and hope our orders actually begin shipping.

I dont see how they can hold us to the 30 day when, like mine, it says mint shipped it but usps only says pre shipment info sent, awaiting item from mint....especially if you have the email from mint acknowledging theres a problem with the ship dates.
