I had a patient pay his copay with gold colored $1 coins. The faces on the coins were past presidents like Nixon and Roosevelt. I can’t find a mint mark and I’ve never seen these coins in circulation. Anybody have an idea, did I get scammed? Lol

The 2022 quarter has to be the worst design in U.S. history. Maya Angelou is amazing, but you don’t show her face. The profile of Washington is unrealistic and frankly, satire and derogatory.

I am no a fan of professional spectator sports: universities paying sports coaches over 100 times what they pay adjunct PhD professors, billion dollar stadiums at taxpayer funding, calling players “heroes” the way you call a soldier who put his/her life on the line to defend a way of life or the hard laboring scientist who discovers a new cancer treatment. Since no private individual can collect every coin even one country has ever minted, in my limited collection, I do not miss coins which commemorate overpaid sports figures who contribute nothing but cheap commercial entertainment to humanity. When I mail letters I do not buy stamps that commemorate sports, TV game shows, National Enquirer, or pop music either.

In reply to Chris Terp. Covid kept the workers out of the mints for the 1st 1/4 of 21 and 6 months in 2020. This is why 2021 coins are getting scarce and climbing in price daily
