Hi All, I came to this site several months ago. At first, I really enjoyed all of your posts and even commented on some. But then midway, people’s posts started getting weird (IMHO) – numerous “Debbie Downer” posts about the US Mint accepting our orders when they clearly knew they were already sold out (ASE W Unc) how we would never receive our coins because we bought them past a certain time (ASE RP), etc. Now, the posts are simply no more fun to read. They seem to have little to do with coins but a lot about politics and guns and insults and name calling. So I am also calling it quits. Good luck and keep enjoying your coin collecting!

But here are some things I learned in the last couple of weeks from a moderated coin forum that may help you out!

1) Check the US Mint at precisely 7:30 & 15 seconds AM eastern time, They periodically reopen orders for a very short time. You have to be quick as they usually have only a couple of coins. This morning, they had the 2021 ASE W Unc. I have also seen the ASE S Type 2, ASE W Type 2, 2021 Type 2-4 coin gold set, 2021 ASE RP, 2021 AGE Type 2, Air Force silver medal, etc. offered on the site.

2) The forums give advice on how to buy coins during these flash sales. I have been lucky enough to purchase 2 of the ASE RP sets. Don’t believe me? Your loss…

3) Keep up with your credit card orders because it looks like the US Mint may not fulfill them if the credit card initially used is no longer valid (according to some). The moderated forums give advice on what to do if your credit card is replaced because of theft, expiration dates, etc. and this would be unfortunate for your Morgan and Peace dollar orders.
