This was a tough year for enrolling. Normally it always had been open. The two designs this year more than likely split the available planchettes hence lower mintages. The high demand drew many to enroll and increase enrollments. The mint was virtually maxing out enrollments to the point none would be left to sell on the release date. Hopefully this returns to normal but but there may be limits. Good luck when it opens up again.

How are you able to enroll in the Silver Dollar eagle plans? Each time I try it said it’s not available. I would like to get enrolled for future years instead of having to try at noon on the release date.

Believe it or not, but Mr. Inbetween is a popular show here. I’ve been following it for several years now as it is interesting to see how life in your country is visualized. I heard that the series has been terminated, as the lead actor is moving on to other projects. That’s a shame since I enjoyed watching Ray wasting all those ‘bad guys!’ Thanks for the movie recommendation, I’ll do a google search and hopefully I’ll find one. By the way, did you secure one (or a few?) of those Reverse Proof Designer Sets? I believe most of us scored!

You probably won’t see this reply, but I am very intrigued by the Mr Inbetween reference.
As someone with a shaved head, an inappropriate moustache and have been told in the workplace that I made a female colleague feel uneasy because I seemed “creepy”, Ray is a bit of a reflection on my own life.
The fact that the show is also filmed in Sydney around areas I am familiar with, it is also fun to play “spoto” when watching it, as it is interesting seeing your backyard on the big/small screen.

I am just surprised an American knew of the show, as it is made on a shoestring budget, even in terms of Australian productions.

if you like Mr Inbetween, I encourage you to find and watch The Magician, which was a movie he made in 2005, well before the Tv show was even a thought.

I remember seeing it on TV late one night, it just appeared once, I was captivated, with some scenes which stay with me to this day.
When the TV show came along more than 10 years later I thought “they ripped off that movie!” … only to workout it was his own work, just evolving.
