It’s October 11th and not a peep out of the US Mint about this coin or the Morgan and Peace Dollars – Caffeine Mike says the US Mint ran out of Silver what say you?

I purchased 2 of these on 08/12/21 when they went on sale. No subscription. The status is still BACKORDER. I’m concerned I won’t get them. Anyone else still waiting?

In reply to Rob S. Tut tut, I smell an Emergency Issue. Minted in Peoria with a West Point mint mark. Shipped in a strapped green monster box (ALL 3 of my coins) with an apology letter / certification from the Mint. *AND* a free red oak presentation box!! ... And then I woke up. Dreamt I was Rob mini-Me(too)zak or sumin'. :D

Well that didnt take forever. Under 10 mins.
The Mint contact told me its just that they have no inventory at the moment?? (huh?) If there were any changes, such as a cancellation, I’d get notified.
Maybe it just means they havent stamped ’em all yet? Or as I saw mentioned somewhere else, they havent gotten to the shipping hub?
I emphasized this was a sold out item too, but thats what they said.

Alas, that seems to be the case.
A few years back, I ordered a prior year ASE … and got the WRONG YEAR – like 2 or 3 years back. 😮
I think it was 2019 that I got a proof ASE that had some sort of apparent nick in the polish that looked to be under the plastic – ON the coin. So I had that replaced.

Now this. joyeeeeee. 😉
