Indeed, Sir Kaiser. Keep in mind that all of the orders for these coins are pre-sales and no purchases have been fulfilled and shipped out, and no credit cards have been charged. So it is easy to cancel these type of orders at any time after the presale date (May 24th) prior to the October-November time frame fulfillment/shipping date.

Regardless as to the real reason(s) for the subsequent cancellations, it is a shame that those who wanted them were lockout from getting them initially by those others.

Interesting observation. However the mint always seemed to check credit cards at the time of your order. Thus, why would such changes happen months later from the order? Perhaps it is really the customer cancelling which also does not make sense as it appears they could, sadly, flip them at a profit. Of course, the mint could plan to issue” millions” more later; even thou, they have/ had “mintage limits”. A mintage limit has not stopped them in the past and likely is happening again today on the proof tenth oz Au coins.
