You are absolutely correct, Sir Kaiser, regarding the launch debut of the 2021-W Type 2 GAE Proof coins on July 29. 2021. They should sell out quickly due to limited product mintage (availability) and very high demand, but not as fast as the 2021-W Type 1 GAE Proof coins did on March 11, 2021. At 12 noon ET on March 11, the 4-coin sets, one ounce, half ounce and quarter ounce proof coins sold out within a few minutes, with the tenth ounce coin lasting about 13-15 minutes. The mintage figures for all of the 2021 Type 1 GAE proof coins were the lowest of the series to date, I don’t think there was a household order limit (HOL: none) in place, and the Mint’s web-site online ordering system at the time had not undergone the internet ordering improvements that the mint has just put in place for this launch (LOL) as a result of the problems plaguing the 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar CC and O privy online ordering on May 24th and subsequent customer complaints. Compared to the Type 1, the Type 2 GAE proofs have a higher mintage across the board and a household order limit of 1 for each offering. And if the Mint has indeed improved the BOT-free customer online ordering experience, as they claim to hope to do (not holding my breath), then Mike Petraitis, et. al., may fare better this go round.
