My (S) Eagle had a significant Die Chatter on the obverse near the rim – my Morgan CC was supposed to be delivered today but is held up at the USPS hub whatever that means.

I think it’s beyond obvious that the collusion between the US Mint and it’s henchmen Graders, Dealers and flipper is more is significant to the point the Mint is giving all the good coins to the their cohorts and all the crap to us retail collectors.

I unboxed three Morgans with the CC privy mark. I have found a small mark on all three coins in the same place. Obverse side in the field between the first and second star to the right of the date and the curl of hair. Second mark is also on the obverse between the dot and Unum and the top of the cap. Both marks look like a dash inline to the center of the coin, the mark shines more than the rest of the field Used a 10x loop. Please look at your Denver and SF coins for the same marks, also the CC coins once you get them. Let me know what you find.

In reply to SENZA. I would regard these coins as commemoratives. Then again, so was the 1932 Washington Quarter and look what happened in 1934. If they continue these dollars next year, then yes, a continuation of the series.

Some are referring to the privy coins as “tribute” coins and that’s fair but the fact these are struck at the US Mint rather than say, “The Bradford Exchange” is a plus.

I personally consider for example, the Morgan (D) struck at the Denver Mint to be a continuation of the series after a 100 year pause and 5 years ago the US Mint asked me for coin suggestions and this was one of those suggestions so I’m excited to see that suggestion come to fruition.

I’m interested to know what these coins mean to everyone else out there too????

The Mints have been closed to the Public one has to wonder if there is more going on than meets the eye here – any conspiracy theories?

So tell me what the big deal is about the 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars are they are not minted where the origional 1921 were minted.May-be I am wrong but what is the big deal about them?

In reply to Larry T. I’d be happy with one coin to be honest, but I have to deal with the hand I’m dealt, not the hand I want. I was just surprised they reduced the total to three. I’ve never seen a need to place an order for 25 coins. I’m just glad more folks will have a chance and that includes me.

Sadly, looks like this is the year the US MINT finally crashed and burned. Hopefully they can rebuild the website to manage its traffic flow finally.
