Interesting edit. The reasons for which I suspect are chilling. PCSD: Post Caligula Shame Disorder. Funny that Caligula coins seem to command a premium over their Imperial-era counterparts, except maybe for Julius. Of course, none compare to the Brutus Ides coin. Imagine a John Wilkes Booth or Liddy/Cruz/Shaw/Nixon/Ruby/Dulles/Hoover series…with messy hair JFK on the obverse… Funny little critters are we.
