"Gold and silver prices are are solidly up in midday U.S. trading Tuesday, boosted by short covering in the futures market and perceived value buying in the cash market. Today platinum and palladium each went up by more than the total price of silver. Is there no possibility of any respite from this ongoing assault on my very favorite precious metal?
