I don't work for the mint but if I did! lol. I wish collecting used to be as fun as coin hunting! I think your family will appreciate your forward thinking. I don't know why but I really never liked the thought of collecting ancient coins I do have a good mix of paper and a few coins from trips overseas but never really wanted to continue in that area, who knows maybe that will change. For now I continue a collection passed down as a fun hobby with memories I'll never forget. Those 7 years will fly by before you know it, I wish you a long and happy retirement, when the time comes of course!

If a mouse farts at U.S. Mint headquarters in Washington D.C., does the Mint's 10-year out-of-date computers & website crash?? Lol.
(I'm a professional numismatist & a U.S. Mint customer since 1976, & 7 long years away from full retirement!). My four nephews will inherit a small fortune of old "classic" coins, including ancients & modern coins from world Mint's, plus tokens, medals & paper money, an eclectic mix for sure.

In spirit of the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower and the 399 anniversary of Thanksgiving I would like to thank people like SR who continue to advocate for true hobbyists. I would nominate him for any excess V75 gold coins on a pro rated basses, speculated by one in a million ebayers #notNebayer. And I nominate C B, the old sausage to cry me a river. P.S. I bought doubles of the Mayflower anniversary set (today yes today) to spite the flippers. Thank you sheep with CC debt or returners with cry me a river stories. I collect and, I thank you.

MCM in Sarasota, Florida has a dedicated backdoor entrance to NGC headquarters in Sarasota. Such a sham!
NGC is a privately held corporation & they are not impartial in their second-rate coin grading.

I would never send any coin out for grading. Grading is a joke, but hey they may advertise a bit more to drum up business, good for them. I think grading should be a simple genuine or not genuine, no plastic. They would have repeat customers with that business model and the flippers could be even more like sheep

C'mon man, look. I collect. I have no intention of selling my hobby away. If I can time a purchase right, great, if not, great, wasnt meant to be. I certainly wont be spinning in my grave over previous purchases or missed purchases or what misguided generations do after my death. I wont care if I'm dead. If you sell, good for you, if you collect, good for you.
